Guest guest
Dear Mr. Sanjay : The "Badhaka Lagna" I was talking about has been derived from Mr, Harish Trivedi. He has made some amazing analysis on RAHU and its behaviors and we have run a lot of scenarios through that evolving theory. Please go through all that articles of "Mr. Harish Trivedi Bhai" to come upto speed on some basic natures of RAHU to continue on with this discussion. Read all the RAHu artticles in particular. The Badhaka mentioned in your article is not the same mentioned by me. Mine clearly states the "Badhaka Lagna" as GURU using Harish (Hemanth) Principles. This is a very powerful concept and has to be understood thoroughly. Further, again re-iterating RAHU in 10th (od -- opposite direction from Badhaka GURU will give problems to Yuvati Bhava and putra Bhava and 11th house). Guru having lordship of 4 and 7 makes it a functional MALEFIC. It is further furthered by being debilitated and Retrograde. You may argue by saying a debilitated benefic Retrograde acts as exalted. That is not the case here. This is a functional malefic in this case and a JUPITER Retrograde will also give health problems in the stomach area for NATIVE. And adding even a little further Guru in house of SATURN will reflect 6th house properties (health related coz. it is Saturns Moolatrikona) with malefic intent. However it maybe noted that VENUS becomes a strong Yogakaraka and Mercury becomes a benefic as the "SAGE" says. So the Mercury Dasha or AntarDasha will help the native with finances and VENUS Dasha or BhuKti will also help fortune and good luck for Dad and for himself. I would say at this point, stop looking at the chart and focus on the REMEDY: The native must: 1. Propitiate RAHU and Mars till end of 2004. 2. Propitiate GURU beginning early Jan 2005 when the Dasha moves IN for the whole DASHA. Ask the native, if he has done any BAD KArma in the recent past. You cannot answer for the native for only he KNOWS deep inside him. Bad karma can be abuse, alcohol, mised life, materialistic pleasures, disrespect to GURU (father or mother)... He may not have done anything but normally these are strong indicators to bring a person down. Very Interstingly Mercury is his AK and that STRONGLY indicates that the native should be honest and truthful at times. Goign against the very nature of AK (Atmakaraka) can destroy all significances in the chart and bring everything down. Hope this helps. Aum Shanti Shanti Shanti. --Sanjay Aggarwal , Sanjay Chadha <chadhatony> wrote: > Dear Sanjay, > > I was very curious to learn more about bhadaka's after reading your email. The badhaka lord for a particular lagna should only be treated as an actual badhaka, if it simultaneously the lord of the house tenanted by Mandi (Gulika) or Kharesha (Lord of 22nd drekkana from the lagna). This definition has some sense in it because Mandi (or Gulika) the son of Saturn is a great malefic while kharesha which also known as chhidra Graha is a dire malefic as 22nd decanate falls in the 8th house from the lagna. These two planets always give adverse results to the native. > Therefore, the concept of house of harm or badhaka as described in Prasna Marga is applicable to only horory astrology and not in natal astrology. More over there are certain other factors which act as badhaka under certain circumstances. Saturn, the natural malefic and the signification of delay, obstruction, etc. seems to be a natural badhaka, particularly when adverse for a nativity and afflicted. The lord of 6th, 8th and 12th usually produce obstacles in progress We can see that any lord under malefic influence usually obstruct the flow of good results. Therefore, we should not fear about the badhaka concept by giving undue importance to it because any planet under adverse circumstances may behave as badhaka regarding its good results of ownership, placement and karakatwas. > > I had problem understanding the following line " The badhaka lord for a particular lagna should only be treated as an actual badhaka, if it simultaneously the lord of the house tenanted by Mandi (Gulika) or Kharesha (Lord of 22nd drekkana from the lagna). " Is this situation applicable with reference to the chart that we have been discussing? I am starting in astrology and would appreciate if you can help clarify (Date : Aug 22, 1973, 9:10 AM, Jaipur). > > I would appreciate your response. > > Regards > > Sanjay Chadha
