Guest guest
Hi Angie, thinks your message is spam and has attached a warning!!! so I've changed the title. Certainly this hoax has been going for a long time. You would think everybody had had it at least once by now and would therefore be alerted to it's lack of authenticity. I often wonder if hoaxers and virus writers get some sort of karma when Mercury goes retrograde and their computers start to play up ;-) "Angela" <angelai73 Thu, 05 Feb 2004 14:32:13 -0000 Re: "jdbgmgr.exe" VIRUS ALERT!! Hoax Hi Flick, I didn't see your post either...well, but it's very surprising too how long this hoax has been in circulation. I wonder what was going on in his mind that day when he started this chain letter...like I wonder if he knew it would go this far, and affect so many people? A belated thanks though for your warning...and you too, Triptika, for trying to be helpful Take care, Angie ps...if anyone has a thought....how is this seen through the eyes of karma? I'm wondering if what the hoaxer was thinking that day is more important than the outcome? I mean.........and this is a long shot, but what if he just meant it to go to a couple of his friends and then later on he would tell them "April Fools" or something like that....but by then it was too late and the letters continued to grow...and spread, and reach more and more unsuspecting people.....until finally, it was out of control and there was nothing he could do...anyone want to talk about this? , Flick <rubysun@n...> wrote: > Hi Angela, > > I also posted to warn people this is a hoax, but I think must be > playing up again because people have missed it and are still warning about > the so called virus. Guest guest
Oh! well thanks Flick now I wonder about Mercury retrograde too I think only one time I payed attention to it in transit, because I think someone in an astro group gave me the heads up about it, but I remember I had some misdirected postal mail at the time, so that was a little funny to me Angie , Flick <rubysun@n...> wrote: > Hi Angie, > > thinks your message is spam and has attached a warning!!! so I've > changed the title. > > Certainly this hoax has been going for a long time.
