Guest guest Posted February 9, 2004 Report Share Posted February 9, 2004 I have been listening to mahamrityujay mantra [shivji] because I thought it took care of propiation of malefic and strengthing of benefic planets by itself.I assumed that if shivji The Almighty wont know than who else will know. Further in Tanvir Bhai,s site and other sites it says mahamrityujay propiates som [chandra worships shiv] mangal [responds to hanuman pooja who is rudra avatar] guru [since brispati was shiv deciple] shukra [shishya of shivji too] shani rahu ketu { they got to listen to shivji-i dont know the exact story] I dont know about surya and budh[mercury deals with numbers and shiva is mahakal ==time --numbers again -is there a corelation I guess right or wrong its samarpit to shivji gosh did i get off track Nina Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But I have also noticed that Shiva mantras work on Sani BEST IN RESPECT of Moon. This is because Lord Shiva has Moon on his head and Lord Shiva's consort is Goddess Parvati/Gauri who is related to Moon. So where Moon is afflicted by Sani, it is the best to go with Shiva Mantra. In general Narayana Mantras are also very good for over all affliction from Sani.
