I read your posting and doubts you have expressed.

First of all , please leave the thought that your time is bad or good.

I saw your horoscope in light of HP Theory.

You say you have powerful Sun in Lagna. WHAT POWERFUL?

Sun is in VM, cannot do any good.

Similarly all planets in VM are powerless except Mercury whom Rahu loves.

It is so evident by HP tenets to say that your Sani dasa would be awful.

Sani is in full aspect of Rahu in Apasavya aspect.

You should not worry about Mercury period which isstarting in 2nd half of 2004.

Except for swa bhukti, you are going to rise in your field and also in the

field of creative writing.

Why??

Your Mercury is with Rahu.In Taurus .Rahu is flanked by Mercury and Venus whom he loves.

So leave the mortifying thoughts and start living.

I am writing you this post with a small expectation. I am on the verge of

finishing my Saturn Mahadasha, and before the end of this year, I would be

starting my Mercury Mahadasha.

Now, the results of Saturn Mahadasha has been quite an anomalous to say the

make the decision had an axe to grind against me. This is just the rationale

reason I am giving.

When I try to see it from astrological perspective, I am not able to deduce the

reason for this anomalous behavior of Saturn in my case.

A section of astrologers had proffered an explanation that Saturn may be

yogkarka for me, but is in infancy stage in terms of degrees. One the other

hand, there is another section of astrologers who tell me that "it is very

confounding that Saturn didn't give me proper results".

The other thing which completely bewilders me is that if Saturn was benefic for

me, Neelam (Blue Sapphire) should have suited me. However, whenever I tried to

wear Neelam, my career has always taken a beating.

I have a powerful Sun in Lagna. Even Sun doesn't appear to be helping me in any way.

I only wanted to know what Mercury Mahadasha would bestow on me. Some

astrologers tell me that though Mercury is again very good for your horoscope,

it has been combusted by Sun. So Mercury Mahadasha would not be very good for

me. But again there is another group of astrologers who tell me that since Sun

is very powerful in your chart and that Mercury is in cojunct with Sund,

Mercury Mahadasha would be good even though Mercury is combusted.

I am keeping my fingers crossed; and I am simply not able to figure out anything about it.

Whatever little hope I have from my horoscope, it is from Mercury Mahadasha. I

guess Mercury Mahadasha would be my last Mahadasha; after that Ketu Mahadasha

would start, and I won't survive it at all. According to my reading, I am

likely to leave this world during Ketu-Jupiter dasha. So in effect, I have just

17 years to fulfill my ambitions, and do whatever little good karmas that I can

do.

Sir, if you could shed light on the following questions, it would be great:

Why did Saturn behaves in a malefic way for me; Neelam won't suite me, didn't

help me in my profession at all etc.

How Mercury Mahadasha would be for me.

I am in a writing profession (Back in India, I was a professional journalist and

was working with Times of India, Pune Edition and now in Canada, I am working as

a Technical Writer with a mid-sized software company); Is there any chances of

my book being published in Mercury Mahadasha.

My Dad tells me that "these are the only good days of life, and that once

Jupiter Antardasha finishes, you would be doomed". Now, if these are the only

good days, I really wonder what is in store for me during Mercury Mahadasha.

(By the way Jupiter has never given me even a bit of respite. In fact, Jupiter

Mahadasha during my childhood and early teens has been quite traumatic for me.

I had requested some really knowledgeable members on this forum to help me with

my chart; but none of them responded even after repeatedly requesting them. I

am not complaining. I am just sharing my desperateness with you, as you seem to

be forthcoming in helping out people, and I am really expecting your response on

my chart.

You mail gives some plausible explanation about the way Shani Mahadasha has

operated for me. I am again very thankful to you, and heeding your advice I am

looking forward to Mercury Mahadasha. Do you think I should Emerald?
