Guest guest
All: Here is a posting I had made on our other group. Hope some of you can relate to it. I have tried to explain the TRUE meaning of surrender in this essay of mine. Hope it makes sense. If it does not, thats fine too :-). You have to create the feeling of trust inside. However, when understanding arises, surrender takes place on its own accord. You do not have to do anything. Many people who ask to explain surrender do not have the right UNDERSTANDING. When you do not understand the meaning of surrender, the secret of surrender, ytou do not feel like surrendering. Let me give an example. If there is a gutter full of filthy water and the water runs into the sacred water of the GANGA, that gutter water also becomes sacred water. All its impurities and filth disappear. However, if the gutter is very much attached to its filth, it is afraid of losing its filth, it might not like the idea of surrendering itself to GANGA. What does anyone really lose through surrender except his impurities and negativities? We are afraid of surrender because we do not understand its secret. Most people confuse surrender with slavery, and that is why they are afraid of it. SURRENDER is NOT SLAVERY. In fact, surrender frees you from slavery and brings you TOTAL FREEDOM. I repeat TOTAL FREEDOM!! True surrender is having the awareness of GOD in everything, in every feeling, action and vision. Wherever you look you should see the PULSATION of CONSCIOUSNESS. You should experience the INSPIRATION of CONSCIOUSNESS. When you have truly surrendered everything, you are not attached to anything. If you surrender the fruit of your actions, you receive the GREATEST FRUIT. That is TRUE SURRENDER. --Om Tat Sat [[sanjay Aggarwal]]
Guest guest
HI SANJAY!! i think surrender is more of a negative statement. because the do-er will still be there. the do-er will have the feeling of do-er in surrender. another name for surrender is ACCEPTANCE. ACCEPTANCE is more of a loving thing.isnt it?? love .... prashant , "sanjaytechnology" <sanjaytechnology> wrote: > All: > > Here is a posting I had made on our other group. Guest guest
Hi Prashant: The Bhagvad Gita says: "To surrender all the fruit of ones actions is a great practice". Even to do actions without desire for their fruit is a great practice. A disciple should surrender whatever he has to a GURU, but the GURU must not accept anything from the disciple except his ignorance. --Om Tat Sat , "prashant_asrani1973" <prashant_asrani1973> wrote: > HI SANJAY!! > > i think surrender is more of a negative statement. > because the do-er will still be there. the do-er will have the > feeling of do-er in surrender. > another name for surrender is ACCEPTANCE. > ACCEPTANCE is more of a loving thing.isnt it?? > love .... prashant > > , "sanjaytechnology" > <sanjaytechnology> wrote: > > All: > > > > Here is a posting I had made on our other group.
