Guest guest
The Nakshatras-Number-A little spelling modification(The Hindu Months) Vishakha -16- Baishak Anuradha Jyeshta -18 -Jyestha Mula Purvashadha - 20 - Ashard Uttarashadha Shravana - 22 - Shravan Dhanistha Shatabhishak Purva Bhadrapada - 25 - Bhadra Uttara Bhadrapada Ravati Ashwini - 1- Ashwin Bharani Krittika- 3- Kartik Rohini Mrigashirsha- 5- Margashirsha/ Aghrayan Ardra Punarvasu Pushya -8- Poush Ashlesha Magha -10- Magh Purva Phalguni- 11- Falgun Uttara Phalguni Hasta Chitra -14- Chaitra Swati I have doubt in this regard. When Sun enters Ashwini Nakshatra, Baishak starts. Then why is Baishak named Baishak (taking from Vishaka), why not Ashwin. What was the naming convention used while naming the months? Any comments in this regard is extremely welcome.... Regards, Souvik Small Business $15K Web Design Giveaway - Enter today
