Dear Souvik Jee,

In my experiments I have found that pink is the colour of Sun. I am

100% sure of this from my side. You put a ruby-star [sun's gem] over

light, you will see that it's colour is actually a dark pink. The

colour of the stones give almost the same info about the colour of

particular planets.

Flick is right about my website suggesting pink for sun. You can see

all my colour-recommendations from there.

In my site or other writings I never remember to mention/write what I

have just read without testing it. Most of what I write and tell is

purely mine :-) May be that is why my area is limited, too.

Regards

Tanvir.

Tanvir,

I think both are right. My western moon is in Taurus (Aries for Vedic) and I

do love the western Venus colours, the pinks, mauves and greens. However,

the pink I've been attracted to lately is a redder pink, no blue in it. My

sun is weak in shadbhalla and this colour gives me energy. And, as you say,

rubies are really a pinkish red, not London bus red the way people think.

There are many different ideas within correspondences, for both western and

eastern spiritual systems, and sometimes these idea conflict, but they still

work for the people using them. I think the best way is the one you've used:

to test out for yourself and see what works. This is the way students are

trained in western magical techniques (by which I mean astrology, tarot

etc).
