To Mark, Tanvir and JR: Astrology + Christianity + Islam: From Souvik

Hi Members,

What I am writing now is a result of motivation and energy I received from a

wonderful posting by Mark Kincaid on Astrology and Christianity. However, what

I write now is completely my view and may differ from the readers.

Religion is a sensitive and personal issue and one should be very careful when

commenting on such issues.

I agree, here 200%.... I believe all of us have a personal relationship with

our own God, within which is perhaps the most important relationship in life!

So I would just mention some statistical and classified data and end the mail with a question.

Christianity:(Mark correct me if I am wrong in any of the below)

Christians "worship" (or pray , or observe religious concerns) on Sunday.

USA (dominantly) a Christian nation "domiantes" the world activities.

WTC and the threats to US occured during the Moon dasa of US.

America starts with the letter 'A', supossedly a representation of the 'SUN'

I believe, in general, that the primary reason all people's....whether in the West...

or East....are able to manifest their dreams and fulfill their desires.... if

they believe in themselves...or yes....in their Suns!

Though I think it's kind of coincidental, that the Sun, is the day of the Sun....

Though it is interesting that we have the same English word for it...

Sun..and 'Sun'day! hehhee

But, I believe the principle is the same, regardless of what you believe, or pray, those

who are more strong with their Sun's...are more powerful...

I recently came across Sadam Hussein's chart...and whoa!!!

He had an Exalted Sun in his chart!

but,...he also had a debilitated Moon with a Mars in Scorpio in his first house,

both of which are more characteristic of a meanness, and un-godlikeness.

He certainly was a leader, though, so the Sun is true for that!

Islam: (Tanvir, let me know if I am wrong in this)

Muslims ""worship" (or pray , or observe religious concerns) on Friday.

Islam (perhaps) has the largest followers (Muslims) in the world.

Women (Venus) are reverred in Islam and highly respected in the original form of

Islam Women are safe gaurded and considered prized "possesions" in Islam

Muslims are the greatest cooks (Venus) in the world.

This is interesting, I didn't know this....

But, you might also ask, why do they honor their women more...?

What is it about their, 'natures' that contributes to that...

In any case, we need to look at the specifics of every person's chart, to see

literally how and which planets they honor!

Jyotish has such a fabulous understanding about this...

Those planets that are strong, either in friendly signs, or in their Own Signs, or Exalted!

those are the one's you've honored....the best!

And the malefic one's are one's you've ignored....or didn't develop enough from the past...

Just think how great this would be to look at our Children's chart, and be able

to see, where they're 'presently undeveloped in...

And where Venus is weak, teach them about love...

Where the Sun is weak, teach them about their Sun Selfs!

and where the Moon is weak, teach them about their 'feminie' side, and

especially about their Hearts,...or Moon!

The Moon, she teaches us every day!

One day, the Moon is here, the next, she is there...

She's here and there...

She's Waxing and Waning....

She not only teaches us about herself...

but also about how....to grow, how to evolve....

through alternating steps of rest and activity....

One week, the Moon is Waning, like now,

and in 7 day's the moon will begin Waxing or getting bigger...

Watch and see, if you don't feel the Moon!

If you find, the Moon is real, and represents a very real, quality of your own,

inner experience, then,....

by embracing the Moon more,...notice...that your own Moon, grows, too!

I am sure you will find the emperical pattern of human religion!!
