A dog could become king of the pack. Astrology certainly applies to animals. I've had many pets over the years, and they live their horoscopes. Astrological energies affect the whole of life, not just human beings. Most humans nowadays would also not be princes or kings, but they might be successful business men or women. A dog might be the best stud dog, a winner at Crufts, the most powerful pack leader. But The same astrology of humans like dasa system or transits or human characterstics etc may not be applicable to animals. May be dasa system of not 120 years but of only 12 years is applicable to dogs. If you collect data of say about 200 dogs, we can carry out some research on this. And exalted Sun is not a big deal. About 1 in 12 persons on this earth may be having exalted Sun,many are paupers. I don't know much about the astrology of animals, but I observed that the date of birth of the dogs correlates with the date of birth of his owners. For eg my dog has sun-jupiter conjunction - my mother has the same combination in the horoscope, though in the other sign. I also have the allocated jupiter in my horo. I think the same correlation could be observed for the other creatures (especially for pets). Every phenomena has the connection with your inner nature, and the similarities are joining together, sometimes after a long time. Best wishes.
