This is some information on prospective PM of India - SoniaGandhithat every

Indian and at least every India lover must know.1.. Sonia Gandhi is ONLY a

high school graduate. It is not evensure if she is Matric pass or fail.

Cambridge University hasconfirmed that they have no Sonia Maino on their alumni

list.2.. Her sister, Nadia Mario, who had never visited India beforerushed to

New Delhi, after Vajpayee govt.fell, to be by herside amidst reports that she

might soon become India's PrimeMinister.3.. Should Sonia Gandhi become Prime

Minister, her relatives inItaly would be fully entitled to round-the-clock

protection bythe Black Cat commandos at the Indian taxpayer's expense.4.. She

worked as an house maid in UK while taking classes tolearn English in some no

name school. She was from a poor familyin Italy but now has almost as much

money as Bill

Gates (guesswhose money is it).5.. During the 1971 war, while all Indians stood

ready to fightfor the Indian cause Sonia Maino and her husband Rajiv Gandhiwent

on vacation in Italy.6.. In 1977, when Indira Gandhi and Congress lost

elections,Sonia Gandhi with her children and husband in tow took refuge

ofItalian embassy in New Delhi. Only after Indira Gandhi, Sanjayand his Indian

wife Maneka convinced her that they came back.7.. Sonia married Rajiv in 1968

and was eligible to becomeIndian citizen 5 years later yet she did NOT become

Indiancitizen till 1984 I.e. 16 years after her marriage. This latebloom of

Sonia's love for India also was out of politicalconsideration. In 1984, Rajiv,

was heir apparent and most likely next Prime Minister. It would be awkward for

a PM to havea foreigner wife. Voila, Sonia became an Indian Overnight.8.. She

has not given a single

interview or offered any ideason a single issue facing India now. Her only

qualification isthat she married a Gandhi. No newspaper has taken up the

issue;no political party is opposing this, people are falling in lineas if this

is nothing unusual.9.. Sonia became an Indian citizen in 1984 but did

notsurrender her Italian citizenship. She continues to besimultaneously a

citizen of India and Italy as Italian law doesnot require her to surrender her

Italian citizenship orpassport. Simply put, Sonia is a dual citizen of India

and Italynow dreaming of becoming the next Prime Minister of India (shecan also

legally become the prime minister of Italy!).

Sara,

The fact is, that Sonia has never hid any of the

things that you have mentioned here. These facts are

known to every Indian who has voted in these elections

and if the majority decides to have her, what can we

mnoritiies do about it.According to our Value system,

these things may not be comfortable. But according to

the value system of those who voted for her these seem

ok and does not seem to come in the way of their

comfort level.

And I guess we do not have any right to impose our

value and opinions on others. And such impositon is

nothing but trespassing into someone else's value

system. What you or I think is wrong need not

necesarily be wrong for the majority as proved by

these elections. In fact, the majority thinks we are

wrong since so many of Indian origin people have got

elected all over the world not only as senators but

also presidents, including Fiji and Mauritius. In fact

in Fiji, one local general even went to the extent of

conducting a coup and overthrowing the Indian born and

Indian origin president from power. But later with

some negotiation and force, law and order was

restored.

While I am in sync with your opinion, I don't think

being a maid is demeaning. There are a lot of Indian

doctoral students who do part time assignements in UK

and US to support their education and also work as

Janitors and house maids. And if Sonia has done so to

study, then hats off to her. Because she respects

dignity of labour and is willing to work to learn.

You see, it depends on from which angle you see an

issue, like the blind man touching the elephant. Just

isolated snapshots of an issue is not the whole issue.

While we need to bow to the wishes of the Majority,

her leadership skills do come to the fore as she has

co-ordinated and integrated the entire congress party

and its allies around her. This despite so many other

Nehru-Gandhi family people being around in politics,

namely, Maneka Gandhi who is educationally more

qualified than Sonia and other relations such as Arun

Nehru, who is extremely highly qualified and was

Marketing Director of Jenson and Nicholson before

joining politics in 1985 and also Sheila Dikshit, the

Chief Minister of Delhi.

Opinions are diverse. And it does not matter for the

majority to go back to the "white" Raj days and who

knows, the great Roman empire may be rebuilt here.

So let us bow to the verdict of the majority and

remember the wise men said, " PEOPLE GET THE

GOVERNMENT THEY DESERVE".

So let us wish the majority people of India all the

best, since they got a government they deserve. Since

they voted for it, meaning they asked for it.

Regards,

That is the problem.

Her two major supporters are Communist Party of India and Fedual corrpet leaders

i,e, Laloo and Mulayam.

They are supporting her for reason my friend that is the bigger problem.

They can undo lot of good things.

If a very hard working Indian, who worked through

difficult times as a factory worker, then a restaurant

cleaner, finally came to the US, got a green card,

then a citizenship (and Indian laws permit her to keep

the Indian citizenship) she then stood for elections

and finally became the President of USA,

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the Sara Sallies of the world and

all Indian Newspapers would see it as the

determination and guts Indian Women are made of I

guess ..

She will have to be born citizen of USA.In USA law is very clear about this.I do

not think the law is same in India. The constitution writers may have never

expected this kind of situation.BJP could not pass this law though they

tried. Moreover we are studying jyotish so if her stars are strong enough they

will make her the PM of India. That will be an intresting study. The Kings of old

are dead.Long live the new Dynasties. That according to me is the only

qualification which Ms.Sonia Gandhi has to be the PM of India and lets face it

it,it is a very good qualification in India when you see all the spouses and

children of politicians following in their family profession.
