Hi Manjunath,

If you finding it difficult to chant the mantras, then

pooja for Kal Sarpa Dosha Shanti at Kalahasti is more than sufficient.

And the Sani Mantra is not for the above, it has to do with some

other aspect in your chart. You need`nt be afraid of the Kal Sarpa

yoga as i think it indicates strong Karmic currents in a person`s

life and shouldnt to taken for something really bad. The Rahu-Ketu

axis breaks after sometime depending upon the placement in the chart.

The Normal time is after 38-40 years of a persons life the Rahu-Ketu

axis breaks.

Dear Gauravji, thank you sir.

but i wanted to be a lot focussed & do some preparation before i undertake the

trip,

instead of just getting on a bus & spending a few hours at the temple & some

money.

any tips for this? how to be more involved in the process

the pooja & the slokas will anyway be beyond my understanding.

Hi Manjunath,

For any kind of puja, the first basic thing is that it

should be done with lots of devotion and clean heart. Also the

concentration should only be on God and mind should not wander in

worldly matters. Also some basic things, if you know someone in A.P

who has gone to Kalahasti before you should ask for his experience

especially in case of locating the priests who do this puja and

timimgs of the puja. You can chant the Rahu and Ketu mantras till you

reach the temple as told by Mr G. Kumar.

hi Manjunath,

Regarding kalahasti, I also heard that u should not go to tirupati

after visiting kalahasti...but anyhow it is very near by from

tirupati say one hour journey on the tirupati - madras route, u can

visit tirupati first and then u can go to kalahasti.

Second about the pooja n pandit etc...the temple itself arranges for

everything....the performed in the temple itself by temple priests

and it is routine affair. All the required items are available in one

packet at temple sales counter itself and u need not worry about it.

The pooja performed over there is very effective as people who have

gone there to perform rahu ketu pooja is satisfied with the

relief....i believe it is the one place for pleasing both rahu and

ketu... whereas u have thirunageswaram near kumbakonam for rahu and

kheelperumpallam for ketu...hope the info is suffice to help you.

you...
