Although you can still visit the Temple and Tirupati as visiting pilgrimage places is always beneficial. It is for you to decide. With natural benefics holding up the ends, even if venus is functional malefic, you DO NOT HAVE a vyartha jeevan arishta either. If you feel kindly towards the *poor* brahmin priests who were going to do this pooja, that now would be deprived of the opportunity of lessening your karmic load you may want to feed them a nice meal. My marriage i hope & believe, will be my turning point in life. Two marriages ! Good Lord ! No !! No Panic attacks..but truly, very disappointed. However, i dont intend to take this quietly.. i will go all out & try to be successful in Marriage. As Lord Murugan said "Vithiyai Mathiyaal Vella Mudiyum" This is Tamil, translated it says 'you can conquer even fate with your mind/intellect' (ofcourse with the grace of the lord) So quietly, i wrote to sanjeev bhaiya's mail id and that gentle soul wrote back with so much encouragement. truly an amazing person. So, what do i do next to save my (future) marriage ? ha, ha, imagine that ! i definitely want to be married once & be together happily. BUT i communicate so intensely or to the point, or i dont speak at all i mean, i can never manage the usual general talk with co-workers except close friends & this leaves the others i presume, think, that i am aloof ! a very minor point, it does not affect me in any way, but i am beggining to wonder if inter-office small talk & networking, if not kept to atleast a minimum, may reduce your visibility in the organisation. As u suggested that manjunath marriage chance is during rahu-mars period...i understand you must be referring to rahu mahadasa and mars antardasa...this is my general perception and prediction as during this period, one undergoes lot of stress and strain. Sarpa yoga is manifested when there are malefics in three Kendras. Now you have Ma in 1st, Ke and Sa in 4th and Ra in 10th. There is some difference of opinion as to whether the 1st house is considered a Kendra or not, but everything I've seen points to its inclusion. Could you clarify if the astrologer mentioned Sarpa yoga or Kalasarpa yoga? You definitely don't have Kalasarpa yoga, but my opinion is that there is Sarpa yoga here. Don't worry about the number of marraiges. Now that you know that your chart has such indications, you will be on your guard to avoid this situation, right? I also want to note that there is an indication in your chart that it is you that may reject your wife - UL is in the 12th from AL - and UL lord Ve is in the enemy stana in 6th, in the Sun's house. UL itself is in 8th to As, the house of death. Ve itself indicates the spouse in a male chart, and Me, your DK (temporal indicator of spouse) is very close to the Sun. All that fire and intensity on your side will be too much, since she will be more of the artistic / intellectual type - air, rather than fire. It is Vargottama, it is in the 1st house, it is in a friend's house plus it is the Atmakaaraka!! Very strong and a vry heavy impact in his life. Actually, this is a good thing, since this gives the native courage, determination etc. Just don't want the negatives of Mars to be a problem. Most people benefit from worshiping their Istha Devatha and Palana Devatha. In Manjunatha's chart, the Ista is Ganesha (Ketu), and the Palana is Vishnu (Saturn). (Gulika and Mandi are with these two grahas in the 4th house, plus Saturn is already weak there causing delay in happiness etc.) Since Vishnu is also worshipped for strengthening Dharma, and marriage is an act of Dharma, I think this would be beneficial to him. (Note how weak Jupiter, the natural karaka of Dharma is, and he is the Lord of the Lagna as well as of the career house.) Mars is atmakaraka and whenever rahu, ketu, mars and sat dasas (maha and antar) happens, the native will be more intense and aggressive (sometimes conflicting forces) and that will bring lot of tension...(hope i am correct). My suggestion of worship of kalyana murugan is to remove all his weakness in chart. Murugan / karthikeya / skanda is not only deity for mars...but also for jupiter ...the thiruchendur murugan temple, in tamilnadu is place for weak jupiter. Kalyana murugan will control his anger to keep him in marital life. Kalyana murugan will control his anger to keep him in marital life. There are some chants in Tamil on www.prapatti.com, but I don't think there is anything on Kartikeya. You may still find it interesting, though. I speak Telugu myself, and am not very familiar with Tamil poojas, but I am sure there are many on the website. I hope you don't mind me asking you this - is there someone on your mother's side that suffered as a result of something you did, or your parents did? Jupiter of course, signifies the Guru of the Gods, Brihaspati, so I've seen interpretations as Lord Shiva as Dakshninamurthy, or Krishna (as the giver of the Geetha, the Guru of Arjuna). Any form of the divine that you consider your teacher, or of course, a real-life Guru.... or Adi Sankaracharya, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa etc. I did not know about Muruga signifying Jupiter - there are so many different traditions in different parts of India, it's very interesting to learn about these. Guest guest Posted July 5, 2004 Report Share Posted July 5, 2004 Dear Manjunath, For Muruga, if u know tamil, recite kandashasti kavacham....great mantra sloka....it will take hardly 15 minutes...cassette by sulamangalam sisters is good to hear...try internet for kandashasti kavacham...that is sufficient as worship of murugan is more ritualistic and tantrik one, it will be difficult for u to follow and not needed also. Kartikeyan, Murugan, Skandan, Kumaran, Senthilandavan all are same god only with different names. There are lot of books available in tamil...note worthy is manimeghalai prasuram and kadalangudi publications...try your luck.
