Guest guest
Sreelatha jee, So nice of you to make time for posting despite your busy schedule. Would love to hear your thoughts on why both rahu and ketu get so appeased when a planet exists with them in the same rashi/house so as to ignore the rest of the food-chain that awaits their attention and otherwise would have caused much tension as per the harbingers of KSY? Is there a hint in that 'dictum' (no ksy if another planet is with rahu ... etc) that the first planet that must meet in a KSY kundali (rahu alone; planets lining up to be eaten by rahu and no planet in kendra from lagna) holds somehow the karmic key in the current birth and is tied in with potential remedy for the KSY? I am sure you catch my drift! Guest guest
Dear Rohiniranjan Ji, You hit the nail on the head! Yes, the planet(s) with the nodes holds the key to breaking a KSY/KAY. :-) Great analysis! Rahu and Ketu are in every horoscope, so the theory that they would "swallow" the other planets in their way could, theoretically be extended to any horoscope. The key point here is that in a KSY or KAY that meets all the conditions I listed before, THERE IS NO OPPOSITION TO THIS BEHAVIOR OF RAHU AND KETU! In a non-KSY/KAY horo, some planets will be on one side of the Ra-Ke axis and some on the other side, right. So, in principle, while Rahu is "consuming" the planets between it and Ketu during its backwards motion, Ketu simultaneouly is "consuming" the other planets, between itself and Rahu in ITS backwards motion. The net result is that the native hangs somewhere between materialism and spiritualism :-), and this describes the vast majority of people. In KSY or KAY, the balancing influence is missing, and hence the person will be driven single mindedly down one path or the other. The other caveat here is that KSY ends at age 42 (the natural age of Rahu) and KAY at age 45 (Ketu). Don't quite know why, but perhaps it implies that after struggling with these strong karmic impulses for a while, the native truimphs in the end ... a variation on the "wisdom comes with age" principle. The above, is strictly my opinion :-) and I am very open to comments or contrary arguments. I did not really get into the remedies, partly because KSY and KAY seem to terrify people, and I would hate to contribute to that by classifying these as problems that need remedies. Yes, you are right, strengthening the planet(s) that breaks this yoga is recommended. Other than that, the remedy is to pray to the various dieties indicated by Ra and Ke, Durga, Nagaraja, Subrahmanya, Ganesha etc. My Guru recommends performing the Naga pooja at the temples of Kalahasti or Tiru Nageshwara also. My personal remedy - my little girl's KSY is broken by planets with Ra, and Ra has a trememdous impact in my horo - is to visualise the Snake God, not as a poison-spewing scary creature that may hurt me, but as the blessed cobra around the neck of Lord Shiva, with his fangs spread, as if lifting His hand in benediction ... or as Anantha, the eternal support of Lord Vishnu, that supports all the universes on His head .... as Lakshmana, the devoted servant of Lord Rama... or as Balaraama, the protective older brother of Lord Krishna ... or as a fierce but protective father. -Sreelatha , "rohiniranjan" <rrgb@s...> wrote: > Sreelatha jee, > > So nice of you to make time for posting despite your busy schedule. > Would love to hear your thoughts on why both rahu and ketu get so > appeased when a planet exists with them in the same rashi/house so > as to ignore the rest of the food-chain that awaits their attention > and otherwise would have caused much tension as per the harbingers > of KSY? Guest guest
Dear Sir, My horoscope is very unusual as I have seven planet in capricorn in the 11th house. Also I have been told by some astrologers that I have kalasarpa yoga, others said I do not have Kalasarpa yoga because mercury is 1 degrees outside Rahu Ketu axis, and jupiter is conjunct Ketu at same degree. I am just about to complete Rahu mahadasha in November 2004, and then enter jupiter period. But in Rahu mahadasha during last 18 years I have seen big ups and big downs in my life. But I was always determined. My experience was while going through rahu mahadasha whenever the Kalasarpa yoga will become active by transits I will see disappointments for about 5,6 months, and the moment kalasarpa yoga is over by transits I will again progress in life. Do you think the Jupiter mahadasha will make me very rich as I have seven planets in 11th house. My birth data is given below. Guest guest
Dear Mr.Singh, Very ineresting chart indeed. How can it be said that you have kay/ksy? 7 planets in last four Rasis would give you some unexpected health problems in Guru dasa and in middle age. So please take care. Guest guest
I have excellent health. All planets malefic as well as benefic give excellent results in the 11th house. I have already seen the worst as I was in Rahu mahadasha for the last 18 years. Rahu is in the 5th house and aspect all planets in the 11th house. Also rahu is in the 8th house from natal moon. So rahu mahadasha was full of ups and downs. But I am very determined and strong person. I faced every single problem bravely and now I am going to enter neecha bhanga jupiter next month. tatvam asi <om_tatsat_om wrote: Dear Mr.Singh, Very ineresting chart indeed.
