Guest guest
You must actually intrude more so that we all can learn from your knowledge and experience. Well, I have a question too. Could you give your views about vargottam and its effects in practical charts (any example if you could give) and how much importance do YOU give to vargottam concept? for debilitation vargottam should make it worse but say a planet is in enemy's sign and vargottam...what are its effect then or vargottam is only good for the planets placed in favorable signs. --Manoshi , "rohiniranjan" <rrgb@s...> wrote: > Manoshi, if I may introduce my two cents here, the vargottama has > more to do with sattwik dreshkana (drekkana. dreshkona as some > contemporary jyotishis have spelled it) than navamsha with the same > numbered sign as in rashi! > > I will now hold my tongue! Guest guest
Manoshi, Far be it for me to take on that lofty responsibility that you so readily and kindly bestow upon me! When others many years older than me have already touched on that topic, d-e-c-a-d-e-s ago! I have written several times tight here about Rattan Lal, and his book entitled, "Nadi System of Prediction (Stellar Theory) [the edition I have dates back to 1=september 1983]. It is all there! I hope many of you have actually looked for it, or tried to find it from the modern comforts of your ergonomic computer chaise. Guest guest
Dear Manoshi, There are excellent books available in regional languages. For example my Guru Shri M.D. Bhat has written a book called Navmansha Rahasya many years back on Navmansha and Vargottama planets. Unfortunately this book is in Marathi. But frankly I have not come across any other book which gives analysis of Navmansha and Varotttam Planets purely based on practical experience. May be with his permission I can translate some very important topics - like on Varogottama and post it. Let me first take his permission. Guest guest
Dear RR, I am surprised at your message. You have to understand a fundamental difference. You can post on fundamentals of astrology , which talks about basic principles , rules , methodology of analysis which can be called theoretical astrology. Other postings could be on how to apply these principles in context of actual cases and to mention case studies where these theories are applied in real life situations. So I was refereeing to the first one. By the way , I have analyzed hundreds of charts using his and many other theories and doing it on day to day basis ( For last 24 years ) and I do not need anybody's advice which is not constructive. Your language is arrogant , adhoc and arbitrary. Please take care. Guest guest
Dear shri gogte jee, Puzzled by your strong reaction to a simple, direct message I posted, I reread my message. I see informality there, but not arrogance or arbitrariness or any attempt to advice you. I understand that coming from a stranger, the informality might have shocked you. Thanks for pointing that out and I shall be formal with you, in future. You were obviously very impressed by the book you referred to and I was simply stating that while you await permission from your teacher to post here, you could certainly illustrate the techniques with the help of a chart etc. I don't see what is so upsetting about that request? And with your vast experience, that should have posed no problem, either. When anyone makes a statement that seems to indicate that there is something valuable in a book or a technique, it arouses curiosity in me and I ask the same question. It should be taken in that spirit and without undue sensitivity. My request does not mean that you or anyone would have to make time for that and comply, necessarily. Guest guest
Yakshi Yakshi, Oh dear ... that sounds like a bad head-cold. Hope the sneezing stops soon. Chicken soup -- and if vegetarian, ginger tea (adrakh) should help! RR , "yakshi_yakshi" <yakshi_yakshi> wrote: > > > Your language is arrogant , adhoc and arbitrary. Please take care. > > I agree. Guest guest
Dear Rohiniranjan, Ok Fine. I have been admiring your postings and views and your reaction to my posting after long time came as bit of a shock. Perceptions and reality is a subject I like. How to write or communicate which will create same perception is something taught to those who are involved in Techo writing ( Writing Manuals , Help Guides etc ). We need not be that perfectionist in our communication but atleast ensure that our genuine writings do not create wrong perceptions. Anyway , let us forget about that small interaction as exception and go ahead to the basic objectives of being in forums. Regards, Anil - rohiniranjan Wednesday, August 11, 2004 4:16 AM Re: Vargottam Planet--RR Dear shri gogte jee, Puzzled by your strong reaction to a simple, direct message I posted, I reread my message.
