Guest guest
Dear respected Jyothish experts, I have just joined this group, and thank Tanvir for this opportunity. Lately, my interest in Vedic Jyotish has intensified, probably as a result of a great deal of introspection, and I have many troubling concerns. I'd be very grateful if any experts on the group, Sanjeevji, Inderji, Balaji, Rohiniji et al could shed some light on my chart. Here are my details: Date of Birth: March 15, 1974 Time: 11:18 p.m Place: San Francisco: 122W24, 37N48 I do have my original patrika. I do know from my rudimentary understanding that I have Kaala Sarpa Yoga, and Mangal in the 8th house. Here are some details about my life: 1) Childhood asthma, flat-feet, knees affected, overall poor health. Health is good now. 2) Constant anxiety/worry and a sense of low self-worth for no apparent reason. 3) I finished medicine in India, and am now in the US. I have had a period of 3 years break when education did not progress. I am doing a second degree now, but still hope to do post-grad in medicine (anesthesia) hopefully in the next year or two. 4) No success in relationships with the opposite sex. Extreme shyness/insecurity. 5) Bad habits in the past, now changed. Turned vegetarian, stopped smoking and drinking. Trying to sublimate strong sex drive through meditation. 5) I'm looking at getting married in the next year or two, but one Jyotishi claimed it won't happen until I'm 33-35, and that only one in 1000 will match. This is very disheartening. 6) Strong interest in yoga, vedic philosophy. Been meditating for the past many years, with a strong sense of wanting to overcome hurdles and achieve spiritual progress. My questions: 1) Are there any positives that are present? 2) How important is the influence of Kaala Sarpa Yoga? 3) Impact of Mangal? Reason for zero success in relationships? 4) Reason for obstacles in education? Possibility of improvement? 5) Any chance for achieving peace of mind n the next decade? 6) What is the impact of Shani/Ketu (8th house) and Moon/Rahu (2nd house)? 7) Will married life be full of hurdles or unhappiness? 8) Most importantly, I am considering wearing a Yellow Sapphire, and reciting Hanuman stotra, and Shani mantra. Any remedial recommendations? I already do Ganesh japa, and also meditation on a devi mantra. I know this is a lot of questions, but I'm really hoping to get some clarity in my life. My most heartfelt thanks, Vikram.
Guest guest
Hi Vikram, I guess the significance planet would be saturn/ketu which caused childhood problems that went away with time. shani/ketu is sitting in your 8th house which is a triple whammy 1. because it is shani 2. along with ketu which is similar to shani plus they dont get along 3. and both malefics are in the house of problem This is what I am speculating. I am by no means any expert. Guest guest
Thanks, Soumit. A rectification: I mistyped in my original post; Mars is actually in my 7th house. Hoping to hear from the resident experts. - Vikram. , Soumit Guha <java_sgt> wrote: > Hi Vikram, > I guess the significance planet would be > saturn/ketu which caused childhood problems that went > away with time. > shani/ketu is sitting in your 8th house which is a > triple whammy > 1. because it is shani > 2. along with ketu which is similar to shani plus they > dont get along > 3. and both malefics are in the house of problem > > This is what I am speculating.
