Dear Friends:

 

Sun moved into Leo, (8/16), and so, began one of the most powerful

times of the year for the Sun.

 

Moon moves into Scorpio today. These next 2 1/2 days are some of the more

frustrating days of the Month.

 

This is because the Moon is both 'unhappy' in Scorpio, and such an

overwhelmingly important planet.

 

Why?

 

Scorpio, though it may not have the best 'reputation', in Astrology;

still, is as important a sign, as all the rest!

 

Scorpio represents one's passions, convictions, beliefs and ideals.

 

And why, is the Moon unhappy there?

 

Because Scorpio, ruled by Mars, seems to cloud the mind, when the fiery

nature, invades the Moonish, sweet, emotional place.

 

All the normal, admirable qualities of Scorpio are important, only

Moon in Scorpio time represents the 'time', when one goes just a tad

overboard.

 

We all recognize when we take our own opinions, and beliefs, too strongly,

and feel we need to 'convert' others to ours.

 

This is not only very difficult to do, but it invades another's free will

and choice, to do it there own way, and discover 'truth' for themselves.

 

If you feel unusually irritable, or angry or opiniated, during these days,

take that to represent the Scorpio quality, invading the Moon, space,....

and the suggestion is..... to let it go.

 

Why?

 

Because this is the discrimination or wisdom of Jyotish for us.

 

We can keep going no matter how we feel, but instead, see if doing 'this' a

slightly different way, doesn't help!

 

 

 

 

 

In addition to the Sun/Leo, there are other 'Leo', goings on that are

important to keep track of.

 

This is especially true, whereas, those planets in Leo, represent different,

very important parts of us, as well.

 

Planets in Leo:

 

Sun = 7 degrees

Mercury = 07:22 degrees Retrograde

Mars = 14:25 degrees Mars & Mercury, still, fairly close, but

as they're beginning to move farther apart, (now over

7 degrees, which is much better! and that will

mean the negative repercussions will be less.

Jupiter = 29:07 degrees

 

 

 

Jupiter moves into Virgo, on August 27th.....

 

 

 

 

Still, lots of 'Leo' energy, like any large conjunction of Sign energy,

means watch not being toooooo leoish!

 

Signs of Leo imbalance include....

 

selfishness,

controlling, my way....

self-centeredness....

 

Good signs of Leoness!

 

include:

 

Paternal love

Generosity,

and careing like a father or a king.

 

 

 

One other important transit, is how close Jupiter & Saturn, are.

 

Jupiter's at the 28:55 degrees of Leo....yesterday; today: 29:07

degrees/Leo

and

Saturn's at the 28:25 degrees of Gemini...yesterday; today: 28:35

degrees/Leo

 

 

If you notice, Jupiter has finally started to move ahead of Saturn and it's

'retarding' influence.

 

Though you may not 'feel' it for several days.

 

Jupiter's now, 10 minutes farther along, and though this isn't much,

it does represent the beginning of a very good shift....

 

Personally, I find even when it's just starting, there's a kind of

receptivity, in Nature, in the environment,

that allows us to 'go ahead'.....

 

I've been feeling this 'shift' for weeks....

 

Now, it's finally arrived!

 

And over the next few months, will flow into an unstoppable, wave of

progress, that will represent the next...

great.... Jupiter cycle....that'll last, unimpeded, till 2010!

There are so many simultaneous goings on, sometimes,

I can't seem to include them all.

 

But, you're right, Rahu's influence can be very real,

and the way to tell whether, Rahu's the one, right now, that's

causing or reflecting mischief,...

 

is to ask yourself,.....

 

Q Am I experiencing any of Rahu's negative effects?

 

And these would be things like, strong compulsions, addictions,

or patterns...that are coincidently,

effecting....me, and my Mercury, intellect or decision makings

facility!
