Pitru Dosha remedies

Remedies for Pitru-dosha are as follows:

 

1) Conduct Shraddh (a ceremony to apease the souls of your ancestors).

 

2) Feed cows, dogs, crows and other animals and birds.

 

3) Donate a cow to a Brahmin and arrange for the Cow's upkeep. These

days people are donating cows made in silver--The Brahmin will sell

this little silver cow so how does one attian punya related to caring

for a mute, helpless animal?

 

4) Distribute 108 Bhagvat Gita.

 

5) Feed 21 Brahmins.

 

6) Perform a marriage for a poor young girl--make sure you donate a

mangalsutra for the girl.--This is a very good remedy for Venus, 7th

lord and curse of a woman related problems as well--I have this in my

chart so every year I pay for marriage of several young women.

 

7) Feed as many beggars as you can. -- This is a good remedy for Rahu

and Ketu related problems as well.

 

8) Feed as many children as you can.--This is a good remedy if you

are childless or your childern are suffering.

 

9) Distribute text books to poor children.--This is a good remedy for

problem related to projeny as well.

 

You can perform any of these remedies as per your financial capacity.

In short, if you care for people and animals who cannot care for

themselves, you will be absolved of the curses to/from/of your

ancestors who have departed.
