JUST WISH TO ANSWER UR QUESTION, WITH THE LITTLE

KNOWLEDGE I HAD IN THIS.

IN MY VIEW, MOON IS EXALTED IN TAURUS SIGN, ITS DUE TO

PLACEMENT OF CONSTELLATION I.E. NAKSHATRA ROHINI AND

ROHINI IS THE VERY STRONG NAKSHATRA IN

NAKSHATRAMANDAL, ITS VERY BEAUTIFUL AND POWERFUL AND

ROHINI IS RELATED TO MOON. WHEN THE MAHADASHA OF MOON

COMES, ITS THE FIRST NAKSHATRA ROHINI RELATED TO MOON.

THEREFORE, MY OPINION IS THAT, ROHINI IN TAURUS SIGN

IS THE RELATED NAKSHATRA FOR MOON AND NOT THE CANCER.

CANCER SIGN IN WHICH THE NAKSHATRA PUNARVASU, PUSHYA

AND ASHLESHA COMES AND NAKSHATRALORDS ARE JUPITER,

SATURN AND MERCURY, THEREFORE,ITS NOT GET EXALTED IN

CANCER SIGN. THOUGH THE LORD OF CANCER IS MOON, IT HAS

ITS OWN SPECIAL IMPACT IN JUDGING THE HOROSCOPE.

Vinay Ji,

 

There can be many "philosophical" explanations given for this by

people, pertaining to the karakatwa of Moon and nature of Taurus and

it's lord Venus. Someone can also show reasons matching some

referrence from Puranas. But, I do not want to answer that way,

because those philosophical answers can be easily rejected and

argued, and they are not 'proved'.

 

I discuss this issue with one learned person [Named Ramadas Rao] and

Ramadas Ji said me that there are mathematical calculations for all

planets' Ucha, Neecha and Mooltrikona etc. These have been explained

authentically by Bhakaracharya in his Siddhanta Shiromani.

 

I do not have the text so can not tell you. Someone having it can do

so. Also, did you ask it in VA list? Someone learned than me might

answer you. Also, when you ask a question in a forum, it is better

not to address only one person because then others having a better

answer might hesitate to answer you.

 

Say, if you divide the zodiac in to two parts each having 6 rashis,

one part from Leo to Capricorn, another from Aquarius to Cancer. Then

start reading the lords of each signs starting from Aquarius part,

starting from Aquarius... you will get Sani, Brihaspati, Mangal,

Sukra, Budha and lastly Chandra. Then start reading the lords of the

signs from Capricorn, you will get Sani, Brihaspati, Mangal, Sukra,

Budha and Surya. This is the same to the before one just instead of

Chandra, it is Surya, while Chandra and Surya both rule one sign each

so it would not be possible to complete the order same way, but still

it is the most perfect order matching to each other replacing the

planets that rule one sign.

 

But there is another order of the planets which is most common, say

Surya, Chandra, Mangala, Budha... Ketu. This is the weekday serial

and mostly used while mentioning planets.

 

There is another serial of Vimsottari which is Surya, Chandra,

Mangala, Rahu, Brihaspati, Sani, Budha, Ketu and Sukra.

 

But now, why are there three serials of planets in different places?

It is all divinity, and they are as they are created. We can also

question why the 12 houses rule a 'serial of body parts' right from

head to toe, which seems pretty 'fake' but this works and this is

divinity. Only Lord Brahma knows the Ultimate truth about all these

reasons.
