The description of Ucchista Ganesha is pretty correct. You can find

further details in the encyclopaedia of indian iconology by

S.K.Ramachandra Rao.

Hello Gaurav:

 

I didn't say that your description was incorrect.

 

I said that there is an additional description floating around which

I posted and which could be an incorrect description. I've already

said that my definition is folklore, not an absolute truth.

 

Let's hope the experienced, older and wiser members know more about

Uchhista Ganapati and share their wisdom with us.

 

Isn't internet great!!! So much information can be exchanged by so

many people in so little time.

Hello Mukund,

 

I also meant the additional desciption. In fact there is a song

"nariyonimukhasvadane" in the kamavardhini/ ramakriya krti. This song

is clearly in praise of and contains a detailed description of

ucchista ganapati.
