You have Dhanur Lagna, and Lagnadipati Guru, from the 5th house,

aspects the Lagna. Surya from the 3th also aspects his own

house, the 9th. However, both are at Rasi Sandi, having

travelled over 28 degrees in their houses, and this could limit

some of their power. Your navamsa is quite strong, with Chandra

exalted, and Kuja and Guru in their own houses.

 

You have Ketu in the 12th, aspected by Kuja, lord of the 12th.

This fortifies this house, and as you are a religious person, it

indicates a good chance of getting Moksha. Sani, lord of the 9th

from Chandra Lagna, also aspects Ketu, and I think that you are

an introverted person, preferring to recite Mantras in the peace

of your home, instead of joining a "ghosti" [religious

gathering]. If you will permit a little guessing, your favourite

diety is Vishnu probably because Ketu is in Jyeshta, a star

owned by Budhan, who represents Vishnu. Additionally, three

grahas in the star of Guru indicate your religious nature.

 

Sani is not much of a problem because he is Vargotamma, and in

his Moolatrikona. He is the lord of the 3rd from lagna, and the

lord of the 9th from Chandra Lagna, and as such, since he is

well placed, is not much of a problem. However, the mutual

aspect between him and Kuja could still cause difficulties. His

aspect on lagnadipati Guru could lead to delays concerning the

houses Guru rules, and also the 5th house. Also, since he rules

the 2nd he is a maraka along with Neecha Budha, lord of the 7th.

 

You are running Budha Dasa, and since Budha is fallen, this

could be causing the difficulties you have detailed in your

mail. Budha gets Neecha Banga Raja Yoga by being in a kendra

from Chandra. Budha rules the 7th and 10th houses and, the

Kendradipati Dosha apart (milder in Budha's case than KPD

affecting Guru/Sukra), his ownership of the 10th could cause

career problems. Additionally, you are still going thru

Elaranate Sani, and with Guru in the 4th, well things will not

be too great right now. However, transit Rahu is in the 11th

until end-Feb 2005, and this could provide some relief.

 

For any sort of progress, both the Dasa/Bukti and the Gochara

should be good. Gochara wise, only Rahu is supportive now. Dasa

wise, the Guru bukti should be decent because Guru is the

lagnadipati. However, don't expect miracles right now. Neecha

Banga Raja Yoga will still subject you to difficulties. Maybe,

when Guru moves into Tula, the 5th from Chandra, you will see

better times.

Sorry if I am bothering you with a personal mail. I happened to

see some of your analysis in the vedic remedies and

thouhght you may be able to help :

Please find details below

 

My DOB is March, 13 1965

Time : 1.45 AM

Place : Mayuram, Tamilnadu,India

 

I would appreciate if you can help me decipher my chart and the

current transits with effect to my career.

 

The last 4 years have been bad for my career, there being no

progress at all, and plenty of mental agony. ( I am an

electrical engineer in the USA )

 

I am a novice in astrology,I would greatly appreciate your help

in analyzing my chart.

 

A lot of things seem to be happening from August of 2004 , that

is related to my 10 th house, but i am not able to determine

the goods or bads of it.

 

1. Jupiter ( also lagna lord ) in transit moves into Virgo,

which is > my 10 th house from lagna. Also Jupiter is aspecting

( 7th aspect ) the 10 th house ( Pisces ) from Chandra lagna.

Thereby Jupiter is also aspecting my natal Mercury ( in Pisces

) , which is the lord of my natal 10 th house.

And Ju is also the lord of the 10th house from the chandra

lagna.

 

2. Jupiter is in my 10th house in dasamsa. Saturn is the lord

of the > 10th house in dasamsa.

3. My Jupiter bhukti has started in late august.

4. Saturn has moved into Cancer in Sep, and thereby is

aspecting ( 3rd aspect ) Jupiter in Virgo ( my natal 10th house

). So right now my 10th house is under the influence of both Ju

and Sa.

5. I am in the middle fo my Sade Sati ( Moon sign being

Gemini ).

6. Will the last phase of Sade Sathi be better for me (

middle phase was bad - carrer wise and health wise - had a

knee opeartion and sufferred for about 4 months )

 

7. How is saturn placement in general for me ? what can I

expect in saturn bhukti ?

 

8. I try to say Hanuman chalisa and Vishni sahasranamam as

many times as possible.

 

Does the transit activity of Ju and Sa , and the beginning of

the Ju bhukti mean something for me in terms of career - is it

good or bad or neutral.

 

To me , Jupiter seeems to have a lot of influence in my career

for the immediate future ( 1 year ), Is this correct. If that

is the case, it should be good for me as Jupiter is placed

well in the 5 th house and is also the lagna lord ?

 

Will the current transits, and dasa bhukti configuration

enable a progress in my career to my satisfaction and to a

level on par with my experience and abilities.

Will the progress occur in my current job, or do I have to

change jobs for that ? Or will it ( or not ) occur wherever I am

? My present company is poised for a big change by virtue of

being on sale , and am not sure what it portends for me.
