Guest guest
Hi i just want to say that don't do anything auspicious in this period like entering in new home, discussion about marriage(if u or any other member of your family have any sister),do not start any auspicious things like strat to build a new home or purchasing any land or flat or any vehicle. At first i thought that its like an blind belief so we entered in new reneted flat during this peroid and we suffered a lot like my fathers illness and some home matters. But after facing this experince i must say that we can only perform a Shraddha for our forefathers during this period and other things like offering food to crow and fish (in river) and poor helpless people. Hope others will advice in this matter regards vasumati
Guest guest
Thank you Vasumati ji, Atleast somebody answered my question, I though that this time also my questions might get unanswered. Well that did'nt happen!!! I also heard that that during this time, beforing starting your daily pooja, you pay homage to your ancestors facing south and do your regular pooja, any idea about it??? Also during this time, chandi path should not be heard?? what about other stotra like sani stotra or hanuman chalisa, whether they also should be stopped. Pls enlighten on this points. Thanks , vasumati padhye <vasumatipadhye> wrote: > Hi > i just want to say that don't do anything auspicious in this period like entering in new home, discussion about marriage(if u or any other member of your family have any sister),do not start any auspicious things like strat to build a new home or purchasing any land or flat or any vehicle. > Hope others will advice in this matter > regards > vasumati > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
One learned person advised below against your question - <QUOTE> Dear Tanvir, If the native's parents are not alive ,then he can chant Pitru Shanti Sukta daily and on Amavasya day with the help of family priest, has to do Pinda Pradhaan to his deceased parents and other Pitrus of his family and offer food to Pious Brahmins. The details of this process can be had from any experienced Priest only as my knowldege is only general and not detailed. If the person is ina foreign country where he can not approach a Priest, then simply he can chant the Sukta and on the day of Amavasya day, just follow fasting and chant Pitru Shanti sukta and while prepare white rice after boiling and put milk and jaggery /Sugar and little black Sesame seeds over it and put a Banana, mix them well and afternoon after 12 clock preferable at 1 PM put this in a banana leaf or any other leaf and keep outside the house for crow. After it has been eaten by crow or( any other bird if crow is not there ),then after taking bath,he can have his food. <UNQUOTE> Thanks, Tanvir. Guest guest
Dear Sharma Ji, I shall ask the learned one and come back with the answer. In the meanwhile may be any of the members can help too. My result has not been published yet but I think I am going to get 'A' overall, the highest grade is 'A+' which is very difficult to get from Business Studies, means one has to get A+ in all the subjects [80 out of 100 minimum] including Bengali and English literature and some of the essay type subjects of business. This is nearly impossible here that the teachers maintain a question sheet and marking style that rarely anyone would get A+ in language, even the curriculum is so. Last year no one got A+ from business in our country :-D Planning to go to the first private uni in our country considered the best for Business Administration among all unis... I shall be studying that subject, enrolling from May or perhaps Jan [i wish May.] Rest is God's will :-) PS. Amavasya can be figured out from a local lunar calendar or an astro software like Jagannatha Hora / free version. Thanks, Tanvir. What can not happen, can never happen. Which is mine, is forever mine. Guest guest
Thanks... but I wish I was! :-) House of education (4th) - has Dharma Karma Adhipati Raja Yoga but they are afflicted with 12th lord and Ketu, Ketu is against of learning. Aspected by Saturn. Saturn is hard work and discipline but good to remember that when he hits something then he hunts it with indiscipline, lack of order and systematic procedure etc. For this hotch-potch generally I do not do terrific in studies. I do ordinary and a bit more than ordinary most of the times, which is "almost great" but not "great". 9th lord Ve strong in 4th so I do terrific in Ve periods and 4th lord itself is also well placed so I do again terrific in 4th lord Ju periods. Also do terrific in Rahu periods. Only in these 3 periods I show brilliancy otherwise not. This history has been repeating ever since the beginning - without a fail. The reasons have been explained details in my astro-biography. Now the best uni might be possible as I am in Ju AD so things generally tend to move toward that direction. I have studied in the best school / one of the 2 best schools in my whole country for long 9/10 years but then I left it being a total miserable failure when I wore a neelam. Talked about saturn already, and saturn is in 2nd house, ruling "learning" so it slows down the learning and creates obstructions, so I lost 2 years and got late in studies. Sa is also in the 12th house from the 4th lord's position. Right after taking the neelam I watched that it does not allow me to study, and told my close buddies about it, and long two years I believed that studying is at my hand so neelam is nothing about it. As a result I lost two years. Lately in 2000 I left it and immediately starting from the next weekly tests I started doing great again, most amazingly. In this Ju AD I could do great again but when the result will be published I shall be running Sa PD under Ju AD so my result is going to be good but not absolutely brilliant, Sa PD is under Ju AD so Sa can not go against Ju now but spoils it a bit. I also studied at the best college which they offered me with rather a full fledged scholarship, but when Sa period came, I left the college to a very ordinary college because the white uniform was destroying my relationship. [Moon is in 7th.] When I changed my college I stopped wearing white, relationship got better but I had to leave the college already. Now I might go to NSU [the uni] in this good Ju period but then Sa AD comes in late 2006, and in no way it will let me study there I am more than 100% sure. But, I pray to Lord Narayana with great success and also getting success with Sani mantra recently, so I have some hope now. Thanks, Tanvir. What can not happen, can never happen. Which is mine, is forever mine.
