Vandana ji,

Your Lagna is Vrishaba, and Lagnadipati Sukra is fallen in the

5th house. Sani is a Raja Yoga Karaka for Vrishaba Lagna because

he owns the 9th and the 10th, but he is unfortunately fallen in

the 12th. Additionally, Kuja is also fallen and combust with

Surya, and he rules the 7th and the 12th. None of these planets

seem to get any Neecha Bhanga. Fortunately, the lord of the 5th

Budhan is Vargotamma, but he is eclipsed by Ketu. Overall, since

Budhan owns the Maraka 2nd from both Lagna and Chandra Lagna, I

doubt if he will be of any great help.

Things don't improve from Chandra Lagna. Lagnadipati Surya is in

the 12th, the lord of the 5th is in the 3rd and subject to the

malevolent glare of Neecha Sani and Neecha Kuja, and the lord of

the 9th is debilitated in the 12th.

You are running Rahu Dasa until Aug 2010. Right now, you are

running SUkra Bukti (Mar 2004 - Mar 2007]. To an extent, Sukra

will help, but since he is fallen, and also owns the 6th, there

will be trouble. Rahu is aspected by Chandra (3), Budha (2 & 5),

Kuja (7 & 12) and Guru (8 & 11). Since Rahu is disposited by

Sani, and also because of the saying "Sani vad Rahu," Rahu will

also behave like Sani, and Sani, though a Raja Yoga Karaka, will

cause difficulties since he is fallen.

To an extent, Guru, as lord of the 8th in the 6th will give you

Vipareeta Raja Yoga, but this will be diminished because of the

fact that he is aspected by Sani and Kuja.

Regarding your career, the lord of the 10th from both Langa

(Sani) and Chandra Lagna (Sukra) are fallen, and this could

indicate a constant struggle for growth.

Concerning children, there could be some very slight

difficulties because the 5th from Lagna is owned by Budha, who

is eclipsed by Ketu, the lord of the 5th from Chandra Lagna is

subject to the impact of two neecha malefics, and the 5th from

Guru is afflicted by Rahu, and aspected by Neecha Kuja. But,

this said, the 5th from Lagna and the 5th from Chandra Lagna are

not afflicted, so there is a good chance of progeny.

As per Gochara, Guru (2) and Ketu (3) are benefic, but Sani (12)

and Rahu (9) are not helpful. Sani's 7.5 year transit over your

12th, 1st, and 2nd has just started, and I have heard that this

can be especially painful for those with a Neecha Sani in their

Dear Balaji Ji,

Your analysis is great ! Please do keep it up ! But I also would like to add my

two bits here (Though I have analysed the chart to him) -

1. As per my understanding, Mars and Ve are attaining Neecha Bhanga. While Sa is

not. I consider a few rules for Neecha Bhanga, discussing them in a next mail to

keep this neat.

2. As per my experience, a fallen planet destroys the house he is in to enough

extent, though the house owner [dispositor] might be okay. This particularly

applies to personal significations like family, health, marriage, children etc.

In any case / position, these personal significations are more likely to be

affected than career, wealth, money etc. As an example, a strong malefic in the

10th house might give fame very naturally, but more likely it will destroy

personal significations like paternal happiness.

In the chart under discussion, Ve is fallen in 5th house, making 5th house

troubled enough about children. Then the 5th lord goes to 4th, loss from 5th

itself. Indeed I guess some health concern might be there about getting

children, or instead, children's health should be weak. More likely getting

troubled about female children. Why? Because involved planets are mostly female

(Moon, Ve etc.)

Then, Mo is directionally strong in 4th house. This suggest if he gets

deaughters, at least one would make the native happy, or she would be well

established. However, her health might be weak or she will face some trouble in

her own life, Merc joined Ketu and for the position of Ve. Might be that the

daughter is a good one but her unhappiness worries the native.

Then 5th lord Merc is again a neuter planet.

So some problem with progenies are there. But, he will get children for Moon,

also Merc is not too bad to totally deny children. A house lord tries to protect

itself the best.

However I must say that a Neecha Bhanga really does not mean a total

cancellation of the fallen condition. But it offers some benefits if there is

Neecha Bhanga Raja Yoga, but with many ups and downs. I have not got any info

from anywhere on how this ups and downs time periods are calculated, this needs

further research.
