Guest guest
Tanvir ji, Great idea, uploading the regulations. I think that you should configure to automatically forward the text to all new members so that they know beforehand how to conduct themselves on JR. BTW, I have two Astro questions: * What do you think of Vimshopak? I find it a little funny because I usually know of figures where "higher is better" (like the marks one gets in a Math test) or "lower is better" (like the rank one gets in school). Vimshopak seems to swing both ways - bad below 5, reasonably ok between 5 & 10, troublesome between 10 & 15, and pretty good between 15 & 20. It seems to yo-yo! Also, While BPHS mentions it, I have not found references in Saravali, Brihat Jataka, Hora Sara, etc. Can you tell me what you think of Vimshopak? * Have you read Bhasin's Dispositors in Astrology? It is in some ways nice, but confusing. for example, Shri Basin talks of aspects of Rahu and Ketu. Also, he says that if Guru is in Surya's house, then Surya will behave like Guru! Have you seen this in practice? I thought that if Guru was in Surya's house, then Guru, by being disposited by Surya, might behave like Surya! ===== Balaji Narasimhan * http://www.sherlock-holmes.com/balaji.htm Author, Sherlock Holmes: Solutions from the Sussex Downs Editor, The Partial Art of Detection =====
Guest guest
Dear Balaji Ji, I have heard the Yo-Yo concept of the Vimshopak Bala from many, and heard many using 'Higher is better' concept too. Personally I have never used them, nor I have done any research on it. So I can not tell you anything, sorry! No, have not read that. But I use sign aspect of Rahu Ketu and have no reason not to use Rahu's own aspect, but never sure about it either! This personal aspect is very hard to prove. Guru in Simha, Surya behaves like Guru. This is strange. I would not say that Guru behaves like Surya, but just Surya checks the good and bad effects coming from Guru. Best wishes, Tanvir. What can not happen, can never happen. Which is mine, is forever mine. http://www.jyotish-remedies.com - Vedic Astrology (Jyotish) Predictive astrology with incredibly powerful problem solving remedies - Balaji Narasimhan Wednesday, October 13, 2004 12:09 PM Tanvir ji...
