How very interesting!

 

Saving my meagre allowance and earnings for some 15 years, I acquired

and studied night and day a huge trunk full of hundreds of books and

magazines (some rare and irreplacable) until such time that I had to

take a long journey, and having no money in my pocket or hope of ever

receiving any, and for a variety of other reasons (no one to look

after the trunk after I left), I also had to give up my collection.

Good thing I took notes, which live with me now. I eventually managed

to get some of my lost treasure back, but even in the forced,

helplessness of the experience (you obviously have better karma than

me because you gave it up by choice!) what a beautiful lesson that

experience taught me. One never loses that which has become part of

one! Even the Universe steps in in many ways to make sure that is so!

Decades later, but, the memories still give me the shivers!
