Nagrecha ji,

 

Tat Vam Asi ji has already promised to look into your wife's

chart, and since he is a renowned astrologer, I would request

that you take his advice rather than mine. However, I still felt

that I should have a look at your wife's chart at least to

improve my own knowledge.

 

AT first look, the chart looks nice - no grahas are neecha, and

in fact, Kuja and Surya are both uccha. I therefore referred to

Brigu Sutram, and some other Net sources (I'm in the office and

my trusty reference books are at home), and found that:

 

* The heart is represented by the 4th house. This house is owned

by Surya, who is Uccha in the 12th. It is said that the lords of

6, 8, and 12, when placed in any house, will destroy that house,

and also, when any graha is posited in such a dushtana house,

will hurt the significations of the house it rules. This could

indicate the problem.

 

* Surya is aspected by Kuja, and the aspect of an exalted planet

is not supposed to be good. Kuja also aspects the 4th house.

Kuja rules blood, and the heart is heavily tied to blood, and

Kuja, though exalted in the 9th, seems to be having an adverse

effect. Kuja is the lord of the 7th, and therefore a Maraka. He

also owns the house of loss, the 12th.

 

* Health is seen from Lagna, and this is afflicted by Sani. Sani

is a functional benefic for Vrishaba Lagna, but it is seldom

good to have Sani in Lagna.

 

* One sees diseases from the 6th also, and Brigu Sutram says

that if Surya is in the 12th with the lord of the 6th, then

there will be diseases. However, heart diseases are not

specifically mentioned.

 

* Cronic diseases are governed by the 8th, and Chandra in the

8th, while waning, could give short life. However, Chandra is

strong from Sukla Ekadasi to Krishna Panchami, and since your

wife was born on a Krishna Chaturdi, Chandra can be pronounced

to be still strong.

 

* CAUTION: Your wife is running Chandra Dasa (Feb 1998 - Aug

2007) and Budha Bukti (Dec 2003 - May 2005). Budhan is the lord

of the 2nd from Lagna and the 7th from Chandra Lagna, and this

makes him a very strong maraka. Budha bukti could therefore be

critical. I think that it is foolish for any astrologer, however

experienced, to predict death, and I'm only an amateur, but,

while NOT predicting death, I would advice extreme care during

this period. Remember, astrology deals more with possibilities

than with certainities, and the period of a maraka graha

indicates possibilities, not certainities. Great care from your

side could prevent a misfortune. It is important to be positive

and pray to God for the best.

Rahu and Sani are afflicting Lagna, but fortunately, a little

alleviation is provided by Budhan. Kuja is afflicting Name, but

Guru is protecting both tithi and day of birth. This is good.

However, the analysis of critical nakshatras is a little gloomy.

The Janma Nakshtra (1) is afflicted by both Sani and Kuja, the

Karma Nakshtra (10) by Rahu, the Sanghtaic Nakshtra (16) by

Sani, and the Abhishek Nakshatra (27) by Rahu, Ketu, and Surya.

The only protected Nakshatra at this juncture is the Manas

Nakshatra (25) by Budhan. A very bad thing is that the Vinash

Nakshtra (23) is currently occupied by Kuja. Things look quite

bleak at this moment, and I would advice you to take every

medical precaution, and also to pray to God for help, solace,

and protection.
