You have Meena Lagna and Lagnadipati is Vakra in the 7th, and

this endows him with the power to aspect his own house and

strengthen it. However, he is with Sani, the lord of the 11th

and the malefic 12th, and this is a problem. Fortunately, Kuja,

the lord of the 9th, aspects this house from the 2nd, which is

also his own house. Kuja is unafflicted, and is sama saptaka

with Chandra, giving you Chandra Mangala Yoga, and Ruchaka Yoga

from Chandra Lagna. This endows you with a fighting spirit.

 

Things are a lot more interesting from the Chandra Lagna because

all the lords of the dushtana houses (6, 8, 12) are in dushtana

houses. Normally, even one dushtana lord in another gives you

Vipareeta Raja Yoga, while the presence of all the dushtana

lords in dushtana houses endows you with Vichitra Raja Yoga,

which is capable of helping you rise at the right time.

 

You are currently running Sani Dasa [Mar 1996 - Mar 2015] and

Sukra Bukti [Dec 2002 - Feb 2006]. Sani is the lord of the 12th

from Lagna, and so is malefic, and from Chandra Lagna, he is a

Raja Yoga Karaka, but posited in the 12th from Chandra, with the

lord of the 6th. Both of these reduce the potential of the Dasa.

Add to this is the fact that Sani generally causes slowness, and

one can see why you are having such a tough time switching over

to IT.

 

>From Lagna, Sukra owns the 8th, and so will not deliver great

results, though, from Chandra Lagna, he is the Lagnadipati, and

posited in his own house in the 8th. However, his association

with the lords of the 6th from Lagna and the 12th from Lagna

could cause trouble, the Vichitra Raja Yoga notwithstanding.

 

Now, to the career of your choice - IT. Ancient sages have not

suggested any combination for IT careers, though this, in my own

personal opinion, is represented by Rahu and Ketu. Here, Rahu

perhaps represents the illusionary part and the glamour of IT,

while Ketu suggests the intuition that is so necessary for

programming. The laborious, stern, and diciplined approach

required also suggests the presence of Sani. Again, as I said,

this is only my personal opinion, and other learned members may

want to comment on this. I have some faith in this judgement

because I once studied programming, and have spent my career as

an IT writer.

 

In your chart, from Lagna, the 10th is unoccupied and

unaspected, and its lord Guru is conjunct Sani. From Chandra,

the 10th is occupied by Rahu, and aspected by Kuja. Does this

indicate that you will deal in IT? I don't know for sure.

However, Rahu's presence suggests this possibility, though one

doesn't know if it is a probability.

 

Right now, as per Gochara, Guru (12), Sani (10), Rahu (7), and

Ketu (1) are all unhelpful, and maybe this is not the right time

to look for a shift. In end-Feb 2005, Rahu will transit into the

6th from Chandra, and this could give you a boost in hunting for

your career in IT.

Not a very good score, and though Guru protects Tithi, Star and

Day are afflicted by Surya, while Kuja and Ketu are afflicting

Name. However, Budha and Guru are protecting Lagna from the

malefic afflictions of Sani and Rahu.

 

Your Janma Nakshtra (1) is afflicted by Surya, which can cause

troubles. However, Sukra is protecting Karma Nakshtra (10) and

Raj Nakshtra (26), which could help you rise a little, and

though you may not get much support because the Sanghatic

Nakshtra (16) is afflicted by Rahu, Ketu, and Kuja, some success

is still possible because Guru aspects the Udya Nakshtra (18).

However, since Sani and Rahu are affecting the Vinash Nakshtra

(23), it would pay to be careful. Guru's aspect on the Manas

Nakstra (25) could also provide you with some peace of mind, but

the presence of Ketu and Kuja in the Abhishek Nakshtra (27) will

impede progress, and Budha's aspect cannot nullify this. I would

advice you to pray to God to help you get the job of your

choice, and also for overall well being.
