Michael ji,

Before I do a SBC analysis, a few points about your chart. From

Vrishaba Lagna, lords of the 1st and the 5th are in the inimical

8th, and Raja Yoga Karaka Sani is neecha in Navamsa.

Additionally, since Vrishaba is a Fixed sign, Sani, as lord of

the 9th, is also a Badakadipati. You are running Budha Dasa [sep

1995 - Sep 2012] and Kuja Bukti [Mar 2004 - Mar 2005]. Kuja

creates Ruchaka Yoga from Lagna, but is a little inimical

because he owns the 12th. He is around 4 degrees from Rahu, and

this will not allow the Bukti to deliver great results. The fact

that Budha is combust will also raise some problems.

>From Chandra Lagna, the lords of all the dushtana houses are in

dushtana houses, and this creates Vichitra Raja Yoga. Since

Chandra is in his own house and unaffected by other grahas, he

can be pronounced to be strong, but since there is a Sakata Yoga

caused by Chandra and Guru being in 6/8 positions from each

other, you will have to undergo various ups and downs. Still,

since Chandra is Vargotamma, as are Sukra, Rahu, and Ketu, your

life will be generally pleasant on the whole, though Ketu's

presence in the 1st could afflict the mind with gloomy thoughts.

Now, since you have not specified any problem, we can move to

the SBC analysis. Your Nakshatra is Punarvasu, and this is the

Janma Nakshatra. The listing below considers the effects of the

various grahas on the various stars. You could also look at the

SBC.PDF file, which I have uploaded on JR, for additional

information. One thing you need to understand is that SBC can be

used for fine-tuning the current transit of grahas, and NOT for

birth chart analysis. One also needs to look at the Dasa/Bukti,

because this has an important role to play. Only after this is

understood can one understand the impact of SBC.

Now, let us look at how things stand for Punarvasu, on

22/Nov/2004:

For Purn, Sury affecting Anur [11] = -0

Don't get too alarmed by the low figure - when Chandra moves,

the figure may climb up or go down. Also, this is a general

listing. Most important is to consider the impact of the grahas

on the five sentitive points, namely Star, Tithi, Day, Name, and

Lagna.

a. Star - Punarvasu - Sani - Causes major problems

b. Tithi - 2 - Sani, Guru - Sani's malevolence reduced by Guru

c. Day - Monday - Same as above

d. Name - M - Majorly afflicted by Sani, Surya, and Rahu

e. Lagna - Vrishaba - Afflicted by Sani and Rahu.

Sani is afflicting all of the above, and since he is Vakra, the

problems will be increased.

In SBC, Guru, Sukra, Budha, and Chandra are always benefic,

while the others are always malefic. While Vakra, the power

increases, so Vakra Guru is highly benefic, while Vakra Sani is

highly malefic.

We should also look at nine sensitive stars. These are:

a. Janma Nakshtra (1) - Birth - Sani, covered above

b. Karma Nakshtra (10) - Work - Surya, causing work problems

c. Sanghatic Nakshtra (16) - Unity - None

d. Uday Nakshtra (18) - Rise - Ketu and Kuja, causing

difficulties in achievement

e. Aadhan Nakshtra (19) - Future - Sani and Sukra, with Sani

prevailing, affecting future prospects

f. Vinasha Nakshtra (23) - Destruction - Surya, causing problems

g. Manas Nakshtra (25) - Mind - Ketu, Kuja, Rahu, causing mental

suffering

h. Raj Nakshtra (26) - Achievement - Sukra, offering some

promise

i. Abhishek Nakshtra (27) - Enjoying Achievement - Guru,

offering some respite

As can be seen, most of the important points are afflicted,

causing the present to be a little miserable. Keep praying to

God for help.

Dear Balaji

A small query:

You said: "Now, let us look at how things stand for

Punarvasu, on 22/Nov/2004"

Does this mean that the SBC score calculated in this

example is applicable for all Punarvasu natives?

Thanks

Ashutosh

Dear Mr. Balaji,

although my understanding is slightly

different but on the whole you did beautifully. Yes I

did not specifically ask for any help but your

conclusion is more than enough.

Thank you so much again,

Gratefully,

Mikey
