I am still very busy in offering some paid readings. I am also writing a Rahu-Ketu transit forecast for Express Starteller magazine. Well, I have seen people talking about Mars+Venus giving powerful libido, sex drive. However I know a female native very close who has Mars+Venus(+Mercury) in one sign and she never has any much libido, and rather very modest, systematic and gentle about these, having very sober desire for these. However her boyfriend has it too much and she is often sort of in pressure in such things and even in misc things about relationship, she is emotionally abused and under pressure. I have also seen a couple of other Mars+Venus charts where I have not got a reason to think that they have much sex drive, but in all the cases there were abuses and hursh treatments from spouses and boyfriends. So it can be both ways. And it is very logical to think, too. Take an example. Saturn in 7th house can give a sick, cold, old, non-romantic wife, or I have seen in practical that the native might be cold in relationship matters. There seem to be a lack of passion, emotion etc and more of responsibility. So it is not always that the 7th house is only showing the wife and her behaviour, but rather it also seeing how the native himself is behaving to his spouse. Or in other words, it is actually showing the married life, the relationship life, and how everything related to this is happening in the life. What is the basic experience of native. So Saturn in 7th can show lack of passion which can be from either the natives side or from the spouse's side. I think Ve+Ma is also like this. Guest guest Posted December 12, 2004 Report Share Posted December 12, 2004 Dear Vinay, I generally caution against focussing too much on a given combination and trying to peg a certain trait based on something like you are asking, although in your case 4 out of 9 indicators are in one house, so impact should have been greater than say 2 or 1 planet in a given house. Just to indicate that these four in the 11th house is not a unique or very rare phenomenon, it shows up in about 1/5th of all charts in databases and included people from all walks in life and all sorts of things happening to them and so on. If numbers matter to you, it was least commonly seen in those with aquarius rising (255 charts), commonest in cancer rising (661 charts) with other signs rising with the four planets in 11th falling within this range. Question is: What would this combination be a clincher of, a sine qua non in other words. If you look at five or ten charts, a pattern would begin to emerge which will be wiped out completely if you study 6000 charts! Not to mention, of course that the person taking such an approach would be wiped out too! And of the people with these 4 planets in 11th, 784 had sexual excesses or some other sexuality related issues. Hmm... 784 with problems of sexualities against only 188 in the group with less likely sexual problems etc The answer is clear, right? <scroll down> Until I ran another stat and saw that in the database there were 2750 people with sexual problems etc but only 711 with spiritual tendencies etc This is known as sampling bias in research circles. If one group is much larger (4times bigger here) then you are likely to find 4 times more cases in the larger group, which is what we see -- 784 in the sexuality group with 4 planets vs 188 with spiritual bent in those charts with 4 planets. Vrischika lagna with Mars in Aries, discounting other factors .. I have been in both situations ... sexually dominated .. sexually dominating ... My Mars as I mentioned earlier is with Venus and mercury in aries.. One thing that occured to me was Mars is supposed to be fully operational starting the 27th year ... after my 27th Year .. I have indeed observed increase in agression from me ... again all this is very subjective because so many other relative things come in here (as u would promptly mention that I should take a refresher course in psychology ) Personally starting my 36 Year I will have my Mars dasa and I have to wait and watch what happens !!
