In order to learn astrology, one needs dedication, commitment,

and the grace of God.

 

>From a chart, I think that one can see this by considering the

following houses:

 

* 1: General structure - For an overall perspective.

* 2: Vak Siddi - Will your statements come true?

* 5: Poorva Punya - Do you have this strength to guide you?

* 9: Intuition - To go beyond the rules of Jyotish, and have a

gumption about what will happen.

* 10: Karma - This house also governs success, and we can see if

you will succeed in Jyotish with the aid of this house.

 

So, let us analyze these houses in your chart:

 

* 1: This house is occupied by Guru, and Guru in Lagna is always

beneficial. The lord of this house is in the 11th, unafflicted.

 

* 2: The lord of this house is in his own house in the 11th, and

this house is aspected by Raja Yoga Karaka Kuja. However,

Chandra, the lord of the 12th, occupies this house. Of course,

Chandra can promote sweet speech, so this could be beneficial.

Since Budha gives Badra Yoga from Chandra Lagna, this house can

be said to be in order.

 

* 5: This house is aspected by own lord Guru, and Lagnadipati

Surya. However, the lord of this house is afflicted by Sani, and

this could throw up hurdles.

 

* 9: The lord of this house is in the 7th, aspected by the lord

of the 5th, which is quite beneficial. The 9th is also aspected

by the lord of the 5th, which is even better.

 

* 10: Sukra is in his own house, giving Malavya Yoga from Lagna,

but he is also Neecha in Navamsa. Ketu also occupies this house,

which is aspected by Sani. Fortunately, Ketu doesn't eclipse

Sukra because he is over 15 degrees away.
