Guest guest
On this board, in the last several months or years that this board has existed, hundreds of remedies have been prescribed to hundreds of individuals, I am sure, by different jyotishis, some nativities getting multiple advices as well, similar or different. How about those recipients now writing back and telling us if they followed the advice and practiced one or more of the remedies and if they benefitted from those (or not, if that is the case). In order to make it educational and meaningful, a brief mention of the problem, remedy and result would be useful. Depending on the volume of responses, people may then wish to seek more details, including birthdata etc and probe it further, publicly or privately. Thanks for keeping the light bright RR
Guest guest
Dear RR ji, pranaam to you sir. very thoughtful of you in asking for this.. you are right (as usual) I am happy to share with you & the dear JR family on my case. I had become a member few months ago & was worried on my marriage, which was not happening for quite a while. Many from JR, some.. dear friends now, gave numerous insights. i specifically got 2 pooja remedies. Mr. Sriganesh asked me to observe pooja for Shri Lord Murugan & Mars on tuesdays for 9 weeks, Mr. Sanjeev recommeded the thulasi pooja. this pooja is for a period of 42 days, its a simple one. Friends like Sri Lataji, Mukundji etc. gave me simple mantras on marriage. i am now engaged to be married on Feb 21. 05. i had performed both the poojas, my timings were bit inconsistent, but i did both of them sincerely & with full faith. and i really feel its an outcome of this only, not mere coincidence. i had wanted to share this news after the wedding cards got printed, but i am quite happy to share it now. All the best, glory to the divine mother. sincere regards Manju PS : if other members desire, i can fwd the pooja remedies given by sriganeshji & sanjeevji, but i not sure, if they are general remedies or were specific to my chart. rohiniranjan [rrgb] Sunday, January 16, 2005 11:00 AM Remedies // Taking stock -- feedback time On this board, in the last several months or years that this board has existed, hundreds of remedies have been prescribed to hundreds of individuals, I am sure, by different jyotishis, some nativities getting multiple advices as well, similar or different. Guest guest
Dear Manju, Please accept my good wishes and congratulations. I had seen your marriage at the end of Rahu period in Mars bhukti and Moon/ketu/venus antram. You are getting married in Moon bhukti. That means your marrige got earlier than Mars bhukti due to your faith/Pooja. I again wish you all the best. Guest guest
Dear RR Ji, I hope you don't mind me responding to your inquiry after so many days. I haven't been following the newsgroups very regularly... A wise teacher (Swami Sivananda?) once compared remedies to a child taking medicine because it tastes sweet, but the true value of the remedy is in curing the child of his sickness. Similarly, the true value of a remedy, I believe, is that it calms the mind, cleanses the person, reduces negative karma and lets the native fulfil their ultimate destiny of reaching the divine, but we, ignorant children that we are, we do them for wordly gain. Anyway, knowing you, Sir, I know what you are looking for is not philosophy :-) but hard emphirical data. OK, here goes, here are some of my personal experiences with remedies: 1) A few years back, I was laid off and spent a good 8 months looking for a job. Somehow, as I read more and more about astrology, I felt I had to worship Rahu. Rahu mantra is recited 18,000 times within 40 days, and I started reciting it a thousand times a day, so as to finish in 18 days. I was scheduled to complete the recitation on a certain Sunday. The Friday before that, I got a call out of the blue late in the evening, to come in for an interview on Monday. I finished the Rahu Japam on Sunday, interviewed on Monday, went back for a second interview on Tuesday, and started working on Wednesday! The last week of that job (it was a contract), I had 3 excellent offers for permanent jobs, from companies that I did not even apply for - they found my resume online, and contacted me. My career has not had a break for even a day since. 2) My son has always been asthmatic since he was little. A kind astrologer analyzed his chart and recommended Rudra Homam. Accordingly, we participated in both the Rudra Homam and Chandi Homam at the temple. (Chandi Homam was recommended for my daughter.) I also started reciting Maha Mrutyunjaya Mantram on his behalf, and recited it 108 times for 40 days. This was about a year back, and by the grace of God, he has not had an asthma attack since. 3) When I was slated to come to the US, my visa was delayed for a long time, without any obvious reason. An elderly relative told me to perform the Satyanarayana Vratam to fulfill this desire. I mentally resolved to do so, and that same day, the postman brought me the visa interview letter from the Consulate. Of course, I duly performed the Vratam asap, after the kind Lord already granted me the phala of the vrata! I know this is not an astrological remedy per say, but it still is a "remedy". 4) My mother had many experiences with such remedies too. For example, before I was born, she very much wanted to have a daughter, after having sons so far. She started Lalita Sahasranama upasana on the first Friday of Dasara, one year, and continued to perform this everyday. Exactly a year later, on the first Friday of Dasara, she gave birth to me. 5) My aunt could not have children for many years. An astrologer noticed her Sarpa Dosham and recommended remedies for her. For one year, she offered milk to Nageswara daily, and worshipped Subrahmanyeswara daily. Right after the year was complete, she became pregnant, and delivered a baby boy, that they named Phani Kumar after the Sarpa devatha. She went on to bear 3 more children. Another branch of my family apparently had problems having children some generations back, and finally had some after an astrologer's advice, by the grace of Bala Tripura Sundari. Every child in that family, male or female, still carries the name of Bala attached to their names, in gratitude. 6) I was wrestling with a problem once - this mail is already way too long to go into details, but suffice to say that was beyond anything I could do to solve it. I was just learning the Hanuman Chalisa at that time, and I was inspired to chant that for whatever the prescribed number of times was - don't remember the number, but it did take the better part of a day. The people involved had a sudden change of heart and the problem solved itself in a few days. OK, that was a pretty long mail :-), I'll write about other such incidents later. Sincerely, Venkatarama Sreelatha , "rohiniranjan" <rrgb@s...> wrote: > > On this board, in the last several months or years that this board > has existed, hundreds of remedies have been prescribed to hundreds of > individuals, I am sure, by different jyotishis, some nativities > getting multiple advices as well, similar or different. > > How about those recipients now writing back and telling us if they > followed the advice and practiced one or more of the remedies and if > they benefitted from those (or not, if that is the case). > > In order to make it educational and meaningful, a brief mention of > the problem, remedy and result would be useful. Guest guest
Dear Sreelatha, Namaste' Yes, everybody would agrred that prayers/remedies would calm the mind, cleans the person, and reduce the negative Karma to reach divine. However, it would be interesting to know whether your horoscope showed your getting good jobs etc or not. If the chart showed a negative trend for getting jobs and by doing remedies you got a job, it is a real miracle. Please tell. Guest guest
Lathajee, How wonderful of you to take the time to share your positive experiences with us. Inderjee, Your questions, bright as ever, would really help us look further. Hopefully, Latha jee would be able to find time to respond so we may all learn. Even if it ends up being a matter of different approaches telling different stories, it would be useful, because it would be a demonstration of the differences between the approaches and the effectiveness of one over the other in this case, assuming there is a difference, of course. The trust that has been built up on this board about freely discussing these things, despite occasional interruptions -- must be nurtured :-) RR , "Inder" <indervohra2001> wrote: > > Dear Sreelatha, > Namaste' > Yes, everybody would agrred that prayers/remedies would calm the > mind, cleans the person, and reduce the negative Karma to reach > divine. > However, it would be interesting to know whether your horoscope > showed your getting good jobs etc or not. > If the chart showed a negative trend for getting jobs and by doing > remedies you got a job, it is a real miracle. > Please tell. > Inder > > , "mahakali108" > <mahakali108> wrote: > > > > - > > i very much enjoyed reading your reply. i too want to hear other > > people's experiences with different remedies. so no, your email > was > > actually too short! > > kalidas > > > > > > -- In , "V. Guest guest
Hello Latha jee, These are instances quoted by you how faith heals and finds solutions. even for getting children i had advised couple of cases where in child has born thoygh premature after follwing remedial measures. There are scores of events including my daughters marriage where events took place after following remedial courses. Yet I would only reiterate that faith is important.Even I have catholic friend in New York City who followed the remedial course and got his wish fulfilled for 2nd baby. This is not even 2 months old story/incident. If we recount certaily it gives hope that remedial measures particularly propitating to God?Navagrahas have resolved several problems. I have regular feed back from my friends who took counselling and even i have mentioned couple of times in my post to our group krishnan "Rohini (Crystal Pages)" <rrgb wrote: Lathajee, How wonderful of you to take the time to share your positive experiences with us.
