I enjoy reading all the discussion emails. The comment I can make about your question on the Gaja Kesari yoga is that it is most potent if formed in the kendras houses (1, 4, 7 and 10). It will probably happen when the proper dasa is in effect. Example in the dasa of Jupiter (antar of moon) or Moon dasa (antar of Jupiter). Also for the yoga to fully manifest, either Jupiter or Moon has to be in exaltation (your case Jupiter), own house or moolatrikona. Otherwise the yoga still exists, but its potency may not be 100 %. Rather it will take the flavor and nature of the house (5th house is a good one) and some characteristics of its dispositor (house ruler) or nakshatra ruler. It is important to also look at the star in whose constellation the two planets are placed. Once you determine this, then look at the position of the constellation ruler. See what sign the ruler is placed in. The constellation ruler will give the results of the houses that he occupies (or rules) during the proper dasa. Regarding Rahu in Virgo, is also good. In fact Rahu behaves favors the sign owned by Mercury. They say that the serpent (Rahu) gathers immense intelligence from the sign owned by Mercury. Hence its performs really well. This is of course true if Mercury is not afflicted or combust. Hope this helps..Thanks. , "Tanvir" <tanvir@s...> wrote: > Dear Mr Doshi, > Of course the yoga in the 5th is going to be very fruitful. It is a very good and strong yoga you have there. But to me it will create little difficulties in prefession but you will be easily able to overcome that 5th lord being own house and Jup being exalted. You also have your 9th lord in own house. > > Rahu has been considered own sign in virgo by Jaimini etc. and so is pretty powerful being there. Being an amateur and novice in astrology, I do not have yogas memorized and have no time to look it up from books, too. > > I hope you understand > > Regards, > Tanvir > > > "What can not happen, can never happen. > Which is mine, is forever mine." > > Tanvir Chowdhury > tanvir@s... > http://www.geocities.com/king_tanvir > http://www.geocities.com/planetaryastro > > > > - > doshiastro1978 > > Wednesday, March 26, 2003 5:57 PM > pls reply TANVIR : need analysis > > > tanvir i am awaiting your replies for my chart. > > 20 november 1978 - 2.51 pm - bombay. > > 1) what are the yogas formed ? > 2) will teh gajkesari yoga in 5th prove fruitful ? > 3) rahu in 7th in virgo = will it help me to succed as rahu is very > strong in virgo. ? > > > ~!
