What is the meaning and benefit of sun and venus in lagna

Good Day....

I would like to know what is the meaning and benefit of sun and venus

as my lagna but sun was week base on my birth chart.Pls explain for

me on this matter.Thanks.

It looks like a great chart to me.

I guess they say that sun is weak beacuse it is debiliated in Libra. However you

have Venus in its own and in the Lagna. Suns shaad bala is at 120% and I think

you dont need any more octane.

An exhalted Jupiter is in the 10th

and Lords of the 3 & 10th are exchanging houses.

Also you have Hamsa and Malavya Mahapurusha yoga.

Can you tell us if you consider yourself lucky?

Respected Astrologer Guru's, Pundits and fellow enthusiasts,

This native has some good Yoga's including

1. Hamsa Mahapurusha

2. Malavya Mahapurusha

3. GKY (D1 & D9)

However he is having problems since the last year.

Is it because his moon is in moola nakshatra & him running a moon

dasha.

Can anyone shed some light on this horoscope

Hello.

Some of the ancient texts say that if sun is in deep debilitation,

even a thousand raj yogas are cancelled. I am assuming that because

of the deep debilitation of Sun in Libra, the native has not been

able to enjoy the benefits of the Mahapurush yogas. Also a note on

Mahapurush yogas, is that they will fructify during their dasa and

they also need to repeat themselves from sun lagna and moon lagna

and preferably in navamsa for the yogas to be 100 % potent. Are you

in the dasa of sun or bhukti of Sun ? If so, performing Surya

Namaskar wil help. Also service rendered to father (or fatherly

person), government officials etc. will help reduce the malefic

influence of sun.

My sense is that most of the jyotish rules pertained to kings and

their progeny because in olden days jyotishis were primarily

supported by rajas and maharajas and naturally they focused more on

their needs. Sun is the king of the astrological planets and

obviously its strength was important in those days for the 'rajyogas'

to manifest. This may not apply to the commoners, who seem to be the

primary beneficiaries of jyotish (Viva la democracie! People power

finally arrives in Jyotish realm!).

Seriously though, we have a classic dowager King that may never

become one! Mr. Charles of England! How is his sun doing and why is

he not making the rank?

Thanks for the clarification RR'ji. I was very happy to see your

comments. I had obviously not looked at it in the same context as

they did in the old days. It is now becoming more clear to me why

the Jyotishis of the old days gave so much importance to the Sun

when looking at royal horoscopes. Speaking of the "King of England",

I have not had a chance to see the horoscope, but from what I have

read, Saturn features prominently in the charts of the British

monarchy. A lot of the British kings/Queens had Saturn in 10th

house, giving them widespread authority. Is that also a reason why

many of them married commoners ? (Saturn represents the common

person).

He has started his moon dasha in 2005,

I guess he has to wake up early in the morning and do some surya naskar for good

measure.

There are some yoga's in Vimalruban's chart that indicate early death of the

father.

Vimalruban, can you tell us about the current state/well being of your father?
