I have read about them, and I get the idea of what they are about. I was wondering about house placements and lord involving them. In my rasi shart: I have Venus as my atmakaraka, and it is in Libra in 3rd house. I have Mercury as my amataya karaka, and it is in Libra in 3rd house. I have Sun in Libra in 3rd. In my rasi chart: I have lagna pada in Sagittarius in 5th the lord of the lagna pada,Jupiter is in 12th from the lagna pada atmakaraka Venus, atmaya karaka Mercury, and Sun are in 11th from the lagna pada What do those things mean? I was wondering if Rahu in 2nd from lagna pada can be an indicator for my speech problems. I know that my 2nd house lord Mercury conjunct the debilitated Sun in 3rd can indicate my speech problems. I also wonder about Ketu in 8th house from the lagna pada. That looks rather tough, and I already have Ketu in 12th from the lagna. Also I read about the upa pada. I read that it is calculated 1 rasi from the ascendant, does that mean that the upa pada is always the 2nd house? I am just trying to figure all this out. I am really interested in Vedic Astrology. I am very interested in learning disability and ADHD indicators in Vedic Astrology because of my own Dyslexia,Dyspraxia, and ADHD. My girlfriend is Dyslexic and ADHD,and she works with special needs people. I would like to work with special needs people after I graduate from massage therapy program. I feel that that Dyslexia,ADHD,Dyspraxia,Aspergers, and other related conditions are seriously misunderstood throughout the world. ADHD is not necessarily a disorder. Some say it's a gift that is misunderstood and labeled a disorder. The same with learning disabilities. They could just be learning differences. Some think that ADHD is genetic evolution for the ADHDer is said to use more of the brain than the average. So the brain is working overtime. There is studies that show it is the same with Dyslexics. Aspergers are often gifted but are odd people, and they have similarities with people with schizotypal personality as well as schizoid personality disorder.
