Rohini ji,

<<<Jupiter rules the 3rd and 6th houses in tula rising charts.

The stronger it is, the more revels in their ability to

communicate and overcome their enemies.>>>

Completely agree! I know a person with Tula Lagna, who has Guru

in the 3rd house as the lord of the 3rd. Chandra is in Kanya,

and so there is Hamsa Yoga. In his Guru Bukti, though he has

been afflicted by his enemies, he has somehow managed, with

great difficulty, to overcome his enemies.

<<<Sometimes mythology gives us special insights. Recall ...

Jupiter sent his very own son to Shukra to learn about the

sanjivani vidya even if it meant wooing Devyani and the rest of

the nine yards.>>>

Before I started learning astrology, I thought stories are just

stories. However, Jyotish gives is some special insights.

Witness Sani, and how he afflicted Surya and his chariot! Also,

Rahu/Ketu and the Kurma Avatara. People who understand these

issues can, in my humble opinion, learn a lot more about

Jyotish.

<<< sorry if I am rattling any pious cages! >>>

No issues at all! Unless we rattle the cages, we can never find

out what is inside them! :-)

Here's something else - Purusha Suktam says "Chandrama manaso

Jataa, chaksu suryoo ajayata" or something like that - not 100%

sure. Meaning, Chandra sprang from His mind, and Surya from His

eyes. Since Jyotish is a Vedanga, it doesn't contradict the

Sashtras, and naturally, Chandra is associaterd with the mind

and Surya with the eyes in Jyotish!
