Dear Friend,

Nobody called themselves a Guru and this science is based on certain findings

and laws governing it. If you are ignorant of this fact, then there is no point

in talking to u. But being ignorant, if you have a zest for knwing what it is

and how it is calculated, then the so called Gurus definitely have a great

heart in teaching u. If you feel that his is blasphemy, then why did u take ur

horoscope and post it here for reading? This shows that you are just playing a

stunt and are not really criticising the science. People are offering a modest

service here. Kindly do not post such blasphemy here.

Dear Rajkumar,

This person is simply following his true nature which can

easily be judged from his horoscope. Look at mars, mer, ketu combination in

third house. He likes to provoke, to instigate and thus, start a turmoil. To

some extent his desire to gain attention has been fulfilled because we are

paying attention to him, negative or positive.

But, he has not realized the power of jyotish. Like Sigmund Freud said,

every single person is unknowingly oozing out information about himself every

moment of his life. The requirement is simply to read it.

He gave us much information about himself in his short sarcastic mail.

Dear Madanlal or Raman Kamra,

 

If "what is going to happen will happen", then there is no need for

astrology and no need for worshipping God and any bhakti and no need

for spiritual efforts or progress. What would be the point, in that

kind of situation for discussing and learning or practicing

astrology? For it would be merely mind-candy.

 

The very fact that a large number of individuals engage in learning

it and believe in its ability to show the path indicates one of two

things:

 

1) There is something in it and the chain of faith or more

appropriately, faith based on series of observations is sensible and

therefore people continue to pursue it (jyotish/astrology)

 

2) Maybe it *is* all mind candy, but like any ordinary machine, the

human machine needs the fuel of optimism, hope, something that makes

it want to move ahead and to keep going. Even if that is the sole

placebo effect of the divinatory crafts like astrology and others,

then that is worthwhile. Just as the world needs modern medicine and

alternative medicine. They will keep fighting but most of us know

clear examples of situations where either of them or both of them

worked favourably!

 

Tempting as it is to throw out the dirty bathwater, it is important

to remember that there was a baby there that is really the source of

all that dirt. Let us not throw him/her out in our haste. Little

wonder that parenthood and patience, both start with a 'p'!

 

Fake Gurus are everywhere, even in science or scientific disciplines.

It is a curse that being human is plagued with. However, being human

is not being the bathtub, nor the baby and certainly not all the dirt

alone.

 

The best way to avoid fake gurus is to control our greed. When we as

disciples are in a hurry and want all siddhis and joys NOW and

without effort, our greed makes Fake gurus appear in our lives.

Sometimes it is not just the guru alone (though it is so tempting to

blame someone for our own follies!) but the chemistry between the

shishya/shishyaa and *guru* that makes the disaster occur!

May be it is all mind game and let all people live

with thee Karma.But as Rohini raised a point,that

greedy pople and individuals who wants miralce in a

day,have led to rising of Fake Gurus.

 

So Mr Kamra don't you think all these is also a part

of Karma.Wrong or right,Pros and cons etc etc.So let

them live with there Karma,very simple,it is fake or

real,even myslef is not authorise to point to others

that.Only what one can giv is provocative

thoughts,that can be positive and negative for
