Dear friends

it gives immense pleasure to note the high maturity with which all senior

fraternity have expressed their views on offering their services. Here I wish

to make a few observations:

1. Several members including SRR have rendered great service by answering

several questions.

2. Special mention of thanks to Mark Kincaid for his willingness to share

comprehensive information on variuos planets and thier impacts which must have

been penned by him after decades of experience. This is really praiseworthy and

may god bless him for his knowledge sharing, which I hope he would continue to

do so. Even the few dollars he is charging is pittance when one finds the tomes

of knowledge created by him.

3. Another special mention also needs to be given to Mr P.M.Gopalachary who also

answered several questions free of cost and he has a great databank of resources

of analysing a person's future according to various types of astrology and his

charges are nominal i.e. just Rs.200.

3. When Mark mentioned that even though he charges money, to poor people and

for students he has imparted his services freely, it shows the kindness of a

guru (jupiter)

4. It is true that, as Mark mentioned, a disciple must offer a gurudakshina but

it is left to him only.

Hope all the question seekers offer the gurus, once their predictions come true,

to give them an opportunity to show their gratitude and it is upto the gurus

whether to accept it or not. This way they are only increasing the respect for

astrology science and would also make the money-charging professionals to give

free services.

With best wishes and regards

Arjun

Respected Kumaria ji,

Please do not feel so offended.

When I read that mail, I did not feel there was an intention to offend.

I respect you and all others who are giving free advice at this forum.

Maybe you are a very sensitive person, that is why you feel this way.

I hope everyone in this group will keep contributing in whatever form they can.

Hoping to learn from all members.....

Dear Mark and All

Well now this topic has closed, yet here are my final thoughts,

since i see so many similar threads in circulation: I have nothing

personal against those who are providing professional astrological

services and charging for the same. Its reasonable that if one has

spent great amounts of time and money in learning astrology and has

taken up astrology as a profession, then they are expected to charge

and I was not commenting upon this aspect.

The real point is all such professional astrologers have no right to

criticize others who are spending their valuable time helping others

free. They should keep all such thoughts to their own private

arena/groups/private emails and not use jyotish-remdies group or

interent as a media to broadcast such offensive thoughts, with all

due respects to Sage Parasara and all the Sages, who have generously

given this great knowledge to everyone.

What's the difference between someone who has spent hundreds of

hours learning astrology(who is not charging) and a professional

astrologer? Does charging make the so called professional astrologer

more intelligent and give him/her the right to look down upon the

readings of others?? Yet there are so called reputed professional

astrologers who charge thousands of rupees/dollars/other currencies

and yet they have given incomplete and failed predictions...so what

has money got to do with so called, " Respect for Predictions"...so

what's their contribution anyway..they hardly helped anyone free and

took away precious resources even from those whom they charged to

help ??

Thanks and Regards

Rajesh Kumaria
