Guest guest
Divya ji, I feel sorry for the lady in question. First, some general observations: The native is running Budha Dasa [Jan 2001 - Jan 2018] and Sukra Bukti [Jun 2004 - Apr 2007]. She has Kuja Neecha in Lagna, but getting Neecha Banga because Chandra is in Kendra from Lagna. Budha is Uccha and Sukra and Sani are in own houses, forming Sasa Yoga and Malavya Yoga from both Chandra and Lagna. In the Navamsa, Kuja, Guru, and Sani are Neecha. Now, to the specifics: Since I had no idea what SLE was all about, I decided to do a general search on the Web. Below is an edited excerpt of what I found: [start] Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a multisystem inflammatory disease involving many organs (skin, joints, kidneys). It has a strong predilection for young women in the reproductive years, affects many organs, and is characterized by the production of multiple autoantibodies, typically antinuclear and anti-DNA antibodies. In some patients, autoantibodies are also produced against platelets, lymphocytes, and other cellular antigens. The female:male ratio of SLE is about 9:1, and its prevalence in women is reported to be as high as 1:700. The clinical expression of SLE is extremely varied, but the most common findings include: fever, erythematous rash, arthritis, serositis (pleuritis, pericarditis), and nephritis. Skin photosensitivity, oral ulcers, hematologic disorders, and neurological abnormalities are also seen. SLE is a multisystem disease and mimics many other disorders. [End] To analyze this issue, one has to consider: 1. 6th house for diseases: This house is unaspected, and its lord is Vakra in the 8th, and Neecha in Navamsa. 2. 8th house for chronic diseases: This house is aspected by Neecha Kuja, as is its lord Sani. Both Guru, occupant of the 8th,and Sani, lord of the 8th, are Neecha in Navamsa. 3. 11th house for recovery from illness: The 11th house is unaspected, and its lord is strongly placed in his own house. However, he is afflicted by Neecha Kuja, and by Guru and Sani, who are afflicted in Navamsa. 4. 12th house for confinement in hospital: The 12th is aspected by Guru, and its lord is Uccha in the 3rd. 5. Sukra, who rules kidneys and skin: Sukra is afflicted as mentioned in #3 above, and occupies a star owned by 6th lord Guru. The fact that Sukra is afflicted and also plays an important role in this disease strongly suggests that the disease manifested itself during Sukra Bukti [Jun 2004 onwards]. 6. Budha, who is associated with skin ailments: Budha is Uccha, but Vakra. He is also combust. 7. Kuja, who governs surgery: Kuja is a Raja Yoga Karaka who gets Neecha Bhanga. He is however in the star of 6th lord Guru. 8. Guru for blood: Guru is Neecha in Navamsa, and afflicted by Kuja. 9. Sani for bones: Kuja also afflicts Sani, who is also Neecha in Navamsa. He is also conjunct Ketu within 2 degrees, and Ketu can cause diseases that are hard to diagnose and treat. Analysis: Most of the important houses and grahas above are afflicted. Scientifically, SLE is said to be incurable, and can at best be suppressed. The fact that the 12th lord is Uccha and Vakra, thereby getting Uccha Bhanga, implies the possibility of hospitalization. Additionally, affliction of the 11th lord could throw hurdles in the path of recovery. I regret that I cannot analyze for death - this is one topic that I have always felt uncomfortable about. I am also very sorry to pain you with my gloomy analysis. Please ask the lady in question to pray to God, and may He give her solace. ~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan * http://www.sherlock-holmes.com/balaji.htm Author, Sherlock Holmes: Solutions from the Sussex Downs Editor, The Partial Art of Detection ~~~~~~~ Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger. Guest guest
Respected Balaji, Thank you very much for taking out time to analyse the horoscope. You have put in so much effort even to find out the nature of the disease. Also, sometimes I feel that when the nature of the query is serious, very few people respond. I really appreciate your sincere effort. Rest all is in God's hands. Regards, Divya Balaji Narasimhan <sherlockbalaji wrote: Divya ji, I feel sorry for the lady in question. Guest guest
Dear friend While appreciating your kind words for my brother Balaji's reading, kindly note that all the members in this forum keep reading all the mails and once an answer is posted and if it is in line with what we also read, then we desist from posting so many readings on the same chart so that the native is not confused or the differences of opinion by the members give way to unwarranted criticism. Instead we use our time in answering another query. All member astrologers are following this practice, though there is no such rule. Guest guest
Arjunji, I understand what you have written. And I agree to it. I think it is a very mature view. But while writing the mail, I did not write it as a complaint. Sometimes, when one sees lot of suffering, questions of gemstones in one finger or another become less important. (not suggesting that it is not important for the one who asks). It is just my observation that such questions generate more interest and discussions, than more serious questions. I truly felt that Balaji's prompt response was commendable. Also, the comment was not wirtten as a negative for others. I know, you reply and advice so many people. You must be putting a lot of effort in all this. Also, from what I understand from your mail, you must have also gone through the case I put forward. And I guess you agree with Balaji's analysis. But, if there is any word of hope that you can add,,,,,,I'll be obliged. Guest guest
Arjunji, Thank you so much for the remedy you have suggested. I will surely convey to her. But I am feeling a little awkward as Garud Puran is read after someone's death. So I dont know how she'll take it. But I'll surely convey it to her and hope for the best. Thanks once again. Guest guest
Dear friend Your feeling is understood. However, unfortunately, in the northern parts of India this puran has been branded like what you are saying. In reality, it is not true. This is a great puran dealing with varied subjects of medicine, astrology, gems, vishnu sahasranama, stotras, mantras and only in the latter parts it speaks on salvation, rebirth etc. there are several mantras in this puran by reciting which, one can bring back even a dead person. In southern part of the country, this is revered and is highly auspicious for vaishnavites. This puran is also gifted along with a golden garud for various benefits. There are so many ways how this puran is used for benefic purpose. So, kindly do not take this badly. With best wishes Arjun Divya <touchbase_divya wrote: Arjunji, Thank you so much for the remedy you have suggested. I will surely convey to her. But I am feeling a little awkward as Garud Puran is read after someone's death. So I dont know how she'll take it. But I'll surely convey it to her and hope for the best. Thanks once again. I really appreciate your sincere effort. Rest all is in God's hands. Regards, Divya Balaji Narasimhan <sherlockbalaji wrote: Divya ji, I feel sorry for the lady in question. 5.
