Guest guest
Hi members, I am not sure if this is correct but I have read that jupiter's transit in fourth house harmful and even the pandavas in mahabharata had to face huge probles in that phase, my question is why?transit in malefic houses eg 6,8th,12th I can understand not fourth !! fourth house is one of the most pious and important houses in astrology after all it is the house of the mother, and a kendra, thats where chandra the most powerful benefic gains digbala, with all this why is gurus' transit considered harmful in the fourth. Thanks. Raghu University of California Los Angeles.
Guest guest
As a follow up, let me ask you people why Saturn's transit to the 4th house is generally deemed harmful although its rationalized that Jupiter's is much worse....? Guest guest
Dear Chenthel, Your questions really touch upon the foundation of the subject and needs lot of explanation No doubt fourth house has different significances apart from what you have mentioned .In Klapurusha it is also Heart. If moon signifies manah karaka and mother and is feminine in orientation and a chara house. it also indicates direction north.when in gochara saturn transits this house, being jalatatwa it is weak and prone for all diseases, being concerned concerne with manah also worrisome.More a enemy's house and with discomfort. Saturn by nature is malefic but a planet that is slow and hardworking and self dependent. If it goes that kind of bhava finds itself in an uneasy position.being slow planet it's aspect particularly malefic makes things worse. For a native whose lagna lord is saturn the hardships are not felt severe but for others it is a difficult position. Also he is son of surya but considered as unwanted. Where as Raghu mentioned about Mahabharata bringing about jupiter.A benific planet and can always make things better by aspect but not by position.where it gets posited being a slow planet spoils the bhava .this may compound the problems for that bhava.Yet it improves 8th house with 5th aspect and 12th (mokshabhava) through 9th aspect. These improvements make issues easy for any one than other malefic planets where all out efforts made by the natives receive not even slightest consolation. This is how the planets portend.it is therfore not easy to make conclusions as benific planets do good and malefics only contribute to evils. krishnan "fourth house is one of the most pious and important houses in astrology "after all it is the house of the mother, and a kendra, Chenthel <nayanar64 wrote: As a follow up, let me ask you people why Saturn's transit to the 4th house is generally deemed harmful although its rationalized that Jupiter's is much worse....? Guest guest
Dear Jupiter is not that bad from 4th from natal moon. The only thing that Jupiter(The Wise One) does not likes a fickle minded boss (Moon in the 10th house). Similarly Saturn(The Work Master) dislikes most a lazy and fickle minder boss. (Saturn in 4th from the natal Moon) With regards, Srikanta

Guest guest
Dear friend, The GajaKesari Yoga is formed when (1)Jupiter is in Cancer, Sagittarius or Pisces and (2) Moon in Kendra/Angle from it. It is hoped that the Mind when guided by wisdom will lead the soul in the path of rightousness and enlightenment. For a full blooming of the effects of the Gaja Kesari Yoga it is always better if (1) sign and navamsa dispositor of both the Jupiter and Moon are strong and well placed from the lagna ( dispositors in houses 3,6,8,12,11) may lead to some sort of Yoga Bhanga) (2) Either Jupiter or Moon does not get aspects from the 3,6,8,12 houses or from any planets posited in their houses of debilitation Besides the above conditions the various types of Gajakesari Yoga can be classified in the descending order of their importance depending upon the influence of Jupiter on the Moon. (1)Jupiter in 10th from Moon ( Moon following Jupiter-the mind following the widom- please note that Jupiter in constellation of a badly placed planet can mean - misleading wisdom, as constellation dispositors shows the mental inclinations of the planets) (2 & 3) Jupiter in 7th from Moon/ Jupiter and Moon in the same sign (here the mind or emotion and the pure wisdom try to equally influence each other- to arrive at a conclusive decision please note the influence the constellation lords of Moon and Jupiter exercising on both of these planets) (4) Jupiter in 4th from Moon ( here wisdom is generally coloured by the personal inclination of the individual- sometimes loosing its purity) Thus the effects of fructification/non-fructification of all the good and bad Yogas of Astrology can be assessed in a very simple way.
