Guest guest
Vattem Krishnan ji, <<<In my point of view, if we forget Ketu is a chaya graha and and jupiter as subha graha(not limited to materialism) that both are the greatest gurus.>>> Very possibly true. But, I would rate Ketu a notch above Guru. <<<Some how I feel that jupiter is Deva Guru because of his qualities(to do good perenially) he possessed and also endowed qualities to find ways to solve "all problems".>>> Guru has some excellent qualities, but one also finds problems with him. For instance, the Mahabharata talks about his jealous hatred for his younger brother, whom he treated very cruelly. So, to some extent, Guru is associated with ahamkaram, which stands in the way of Moksha. Ketu, on the other hand, thanks to the divine touch of the Sudarshana Chakra, is interested in nothing on the materialistic plane. <<<I think solving all problems is to work for moksha ceaselessly through our karmas and reforming them continuously without bringing in self into picture.one can attain moksha by doing good.>>> You have a point. But, some opine that we are held down on Bhu Loka by iron and gold handcuffs, representing the bad and the good karmas respectively. One gets Moksha by getting rid of all karmas, both good and bad. If you have very little bad karma and a lot of good karma, you may be born as a king. But, while ruling, you comit karmas good and bad and have to be born again to experience them. Thus, the cycle goes on. God's grace is essential for breaking out of this circle. Of course, this comes through Ketu and Sani and Guru! ~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan * http://www.sherlock-holmes.com/balaji.htm Author, Sherlock Holmes: Solutions from the Sussex Downs Editor, The Partial Art of Detection ~~~~~~~ __ Start your day with - make it your home page http://www./r/hs
Guest guest
Dear Mr Bala ji, In fact(we) as people related/involved in/ to the field of Astrology, make a big point about Dharma and this leading element is the contribution of all the palnets. In fact sometimes may be(in ecstacy/disgust?)(we) say that there is nothing like good and bad palnets and change the plane to houses. In the process we find mixing up of the characterstics. There is no doubt about Guru not harming/not doing bad and definetely finds "one also finds problems with him." May be in the context of Dharma it is the Guru that shows the path,Sanithrough efforts and persistence carries and finally Ketu(purifies) and lodges us into the most final stage>If at all it is appropriate to amke any order of roles of these palnets. The involvement of Ketu is at the highest order after initiation through Guru" this comes through Ketu and Sani and Guru! As far the aspiration for moksha is concerned :the issue is not so simplified to say: One gets Moksha by getting rid of all karmas, both good and bad. In this connection I quote my father who died where recently and very abruptly believed in what exactly you mentioned. The manner he ended his life was so peaceful i feel difficult to get convinced.he died at the age of 84+ very peacefully with no disease and medicine in the entire life. May be that way he must have got moksha? Iam not sure of this approach.Once we are borne karma good or bad is inevitable and the judgement is beyond us.we hope for good and live for good and let the aspirations be good to attain moksha krishnan Balaji Narasimhan <sherlockbalaji wrote: Vattem Krishnan ji, <<<In my point of view, if we forget Ketu is a chaya graha and and jupiter as subha graha(not limited to materialism) that both are the greatest gurus.>>> Very possibly true.
