Guest guest
Vijaydas ji, I have always found it very interesting that navamsha has been recommended as the chart that talks about marriage and spouse while saptamamsha represents the children. There is a certain (though not perfect) correlation/association between some of the harmonic slices that vargas represent and sometimes interpreted so and the order of houses: Rashi (divided by 1, the primary or central frequency sonically speaking) the first house Hora (sign divided by 2) 2nd house (wealth etc) Drekkana/Dreshkana/Dreshkona (divisor is 3) 3rd house - siblings Turyamsha - sukh, 4th harmonic The comes the first tangent! Saptamamsha (7th but represents children -- 5th house) Navamsha (9th harmonic but represents 7th and not 9th house) Dashamsha (10th - house and harmonic and profession) and the rail gets back on the patari. Now if we go around the zodiac again, some of the remaining fit, others don't within this scheme! But why is saptamamsha representing the children/5th house and navamsha the 7th house? I think it was Narasimha who at one time, years ago connected the concept of navamsha representing the Dharmapatni. It clicked conceptually and dare I say -- intuitively. Have I tested this in many charts (my own question to others, generally that gets me in deep hot waters!). NO! I have not. But the happily married few that I have known and met do confirm in words and actions that there is always a great woman behind a great man! What would yang be without the right YIN? What or where would a Concorde jet be without the right fuel! The fuel burns away but we just look at the Concorde in awe! Now there are some brahmacharis who have reached great heights but has there been a Great Woman behind their success too? A mother sometimes, a sister at other times? Research questions! And how did the navamsha explain that link? Or did it? So, is navamsha not about just patni, though in most cases it might be so. Maybe it is just about our dharmic acts or as astro- accountants might want to call it -- about our DHARMIC ledger! Another research and exploration question. Would be interesting to examine if the dharmic influence deciphered through navamsha always manifests in this worldly reality as someone from the other gender, nature of relationships notwithstanding? And I also sense your other question within the question. Is navamsha a chart or just a point of power? So many complex questions! Hopefully I did not mislead anyone!
