Guest guest
Dear Members, This weekend I will discuss a very hot topic that concerns all of you "WHY THE PREDICTION WENT WRONG". All of you have visited one astrologer or the other at some point in your life when you were going through difficult time in your life. In many cases the astrologer gave you predictions that you will get a promotion or start a new business or win a lottery but nothing happened. Your bad time still continued. In other cases the astrologer predicted terrible things that you will be hospitalized or may meet with an accident, marriage may end in divorce or may loose your job. But it never happened. In all these cases the predictions went wrong, and it surprised everybody including the astrologer. The astrologer still tried to justify his predictions by talking about vipreet raj yoga, combustion, nechabhanga rajyoga, badhak planet or sadhi sati, or ashthama shani etc. But it did not help you at all. Many of you must be wondering that I was in Saturn mahadasha, and Saturn was transiting 11th house from natal moon. My astrologer predicted excellent things but nothing happened. But another person might be going through Sadh Sati and gets elected as the leader of a country. Some of you might have experienced jupiter's transit in 3rd from natal moon which is considered not good. But the person gets married or gets a promotion during a bad transit, why? You can all look back and see how many times it happened in your lives and you wasted tons of money doing remedies and still there was no change in your life. You felt frustrated and helpless and wondered if there is any someone who really has answer to my questions. Next week we will discuss why the predictions went wrong. Regards G. Guest guest
Dear Members, This week I will continue with my discussions on the topic "WHY THE PREDICTION WENT WRONG". Many times you go to an astrologer, and the astrologer does not have any solid answer to your problems. The astrologer quickly diverts your attention to do some remedies. You end up spending tons of money, and you are still spinning your wheels in the mud without making any progress. As I mentioned last time in many cases the astrologer gave you predictions that you will get a promotion or start a new business or win a lottery but nothing happened. Your bad time still continued. In other cases the astrologer predicted terrible things that you will be hospitalized or may meet with an accident, marriage may end in divorce or may loose your job. But it never happened. In all these cases the predictions went wrong, and it surprised everybody including the astrologer. The reason why the predictions go wrong, and your astrologer is not on target is that the astrologer never applied nakshatras to arrive at predictions. You may have jupiter transiting 11th house from natal moon during jupiter mahadasha but jupiter might be transiting a bad nakshatra and still may fail to give you the desired results. In other case the person may be in sadh sati but saturn might be transiting an excellent nakshatra and you get promotion during sadh sati. In order to arrive at an accurate prediction the knowledge and usage of nakshatras is very important. My experience is that very few astrologers apply nakshatras to make judgement about an astrology chart. Either they don't have any knowledge on nakshatras or they are too busy and don't have time to use nakshatra in their analysis. I have studied astrology with some very famous astrologers all over world and found only 10% astrologers have knowledge on nakshatra and they are using them to do chart analysis. Regards G. Guest guest
Dear Rakesh, Thanks for your comments. The position of planet in navamsa does not tell anything about nakshatra. For example if jupiter is in leo in navamsa it does not tell the nakshatra. Jupiter could be located in chitra, dhanistha, or Mrigashira nakshatra etc. Regards G. Guest guest
Dear Friends, Predictions fail Not 'coz of: "astrologer (never) applied nakshatras to arrive at predictions. Mostly nakshtra positions are taken into confidence in predictions.what perhaps leads to overlooking and failures is relationships of planets with reference to signs and rasis.only in the event of prediction failing we feel to err is human and we overlooked as human beings.Failures are as common as correct predictions. krishnan "Rohini (Crystal Pages)" <rrgb wrote: And yet you would have been more careful when buying a car, scooter or a necklace for your wife! Guest guest
Fact of the matter is that neither successes nor failures are thoroughly documented or discussed by individual astrologers, privately or publicly. The issue of failure is sensitive, understandably, particularly when now more than before, astrologers get into the cock-fight, challenging modes -- I am not talking of small fish but even big leaders/teachers in astrology. Truth and facts get covered in rhetorics and emotional clouds and the matter dies down. In the meantime, we hear about short-lasting attempts on part of individuals who set out to write why astrologers fail and at othertimes why astrologers are successful in predicting. Missing from all such accounts are details, chronicling both successes and failures with facts and illustrations. Unless that is done, it is an exercise that gets anyone nowhere. It is like tires, spinning in slippery mud -- there is no progress and everyone around that is participating or watching feels dirty and wet after having gone through the experience, including bystanders! But please carry on your celebrations, don't mind me ... Guest guest
I was speaking historically, Mr. Krishnan. Your selective cut and paste, rather difficult to follow message might imply that I was commenting on the current flame wars we saw here, which was not the case. I think such venting and discussions as we see from time to time here and elsewhere are very healthy and I congratulate Tanvir in letting the energies flow naturally rather than jumping in too quickly and interfere. Then again we all know that he is wise beyond his years :-) I think astrologers should be honest and all cultures of secrecy and phoney sycophancy should be gotten rid of before we can tackle the real issues and begin to speak freely and candidly. Guest guest
Dear Rohini Ji!,message is no doubt fair, frank and even on behalf of group dare to say "universal".The acknowledgements you have endorsed in crisp:"I congratulate Tanvir in letting the energies flow naturally rather than jumping in too quickly and interfere." is absolutely true to the spirit, Mr Tanvir sought and let's hope the decorum shall continue to be maintained. best regards on my personal Iam most elated to join and convey seasonal greetings for his Health, happiness and welfare krishnan "Rohini (Crystal Pages)" <rrgb wrote: I was speaking historically, Mr. Krishnan. Guest guest
Yes Sir, decorum *must* continue! Decorum between souls would be my personal desire and humble wish/request, as opposed to some artificial socio-cultural probably foreign and imposed cultural norms even shunned by its newer, younger 'natives', if I must go further and spell it right out! Decorum between souls has a different meaning and at the risk of being overly graphic, let me remind readers that souls are generally visualized as naked. This is dangerous territory I am treading and can be easily misinterpreted particularly having been directly attacked and insulted many a times privately and fewer times publicly as well :-), I must say that each attack, personal or academic has only taught me, given me a pause to look back and realign my sightings and to help me gauge praise in a more realistic manner and to see through its gossamer but oh so clingy veneer. It has also made me look harder at my padas and other 'image' indicators! They are right, you know -- what does not kill you can only make you stronger! And no attack, personal or otherwise on internet can really kill anyway, so it can only make one stronger! Win win, I say, once we redefine *decorum*, that is ... You are very wise too I sense, I am sure you will understand as will rest of the forum siblings, hence I dare pen the above words ... Guest guest
Mr. Krishnan, FWIW (For What It's Worth) -- my biggest relief came when I accepted that in reality I was not *contributing* -- but just stating my current position of comfort and acceptance and sometimes pushing it whether someone was listening or not or ready to (like some of you who skipped to the next message right now ;-)) EGO must leave before learning can truly begin. Mine left decades ago when I was very young and met with failures in some meaningful sectors in life more or less at the same time. One can say that I was lucky in this lifetime! I truly feel compassion for those for whom that kind of awakening never comes or would much later in life when things tend to become more rigid and apparent reality more concrete. The best time to start working on one's 'wrinkles' is before those appear! I think I am making the youngsters here a bit fidgety and perhaps boring them, hence this will be my last post on this matter :-) RR , vattem krishnan <bursar_99> wrote: > > Dear Friend,The sentiments that flash carry agony as sometimes wiseness and wisdom is lost in din befor:shunned by its newer, younger 'natives', > and i totally in consonace with your views and feel bit of my contribution in positive sense to echo deep anguish for the satae of things as well as "some artificial socio-cultural probably foreign and imposed cultural norms'.For a good and ardent wishes when we have clear and opaque consciousness and the whole strife is for a cause and for well being of the the great vedic science with we must identify for long times to come.Certainly sir,you are right and would in an unstinted manner get support for "if I must go further and spell it right out'and ventilate to bring in decorum if not discipline.Certainly it is never a dirty job whether in public or in private as no bad intentions are being endorsed > regards > krishnan > > "Rohini (Crystal Pages)" <rrgb@s...> wrote: > Yes Sir, decorum *must* continue!
