Guest guest
Baktha ji, My home PC crashed on Saturday, and it will be at least one week before I get it up and running! Please remind me in another week. Vakya Panchangam is used for festivals, and is not very accurate. Ganita Panchangam or Drik Panchangam is more accurate. Best to use some reliable software, which will give accurate results. Even better to compute the chart with two different software programs in order to verify the accuracy of results! In my own case, I suffered because my birth chart was originally calculated with a Vakya Panchangam. My Lagna was given as Kataka. Only after I started using software did I realize that it was actually 28 degrees Mituna! Best to use Vakya Panchangam for celebrating festivals, and use Drik for calculating charts! ~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan * http://www.sherlock-holmes.com/balaji.htm Author, Sherlock Holmes: Solutions from the Sussex Downs Editor, The Partial Art of Detection ~~~~~~~ Mail - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005
