Career is a difficult area since 10th lord Jupiter is not very well

placed. Jupiter remedies are recommended (recite Jupiter's mantra,

wear yellow sapphire or have a Jupiter yagya performed). Jupiter is

also retrograde, so its results may be slow to manifest. By 2010,

when you're 30, you should have a clearer idea of what you want to do

professionally. Until then, there may be a lot of indecision.

 

The timing of a good job is hard to say. The 10th lord's condition

indicates obstacles to finding a good career. It may take a long

time to arrive at a satisfactory position professionally.

 

The present time up until Oct 2006 should bring some decent results

for work matters since Jupiter/Saturn period is in effect (Jupiter is

10th lord and beneficially aspects 10th while Saturn is 10th

significator) and Jupiter is aspecting, by transit, the 10th house

from the Moon.

 

In early 2010, Jupiter's transit of Aquarius may be very beneficial

for career since from there it will occupy the 10th house from the

Moon and also aspect the 10th lord of the natal chart. Note that

this is also the same time noted above when you should develop a

clearer idea of what to do professionally.

 

Jupiter's transit of Sagittarius in 2008 should be good for career,

as well, because Jupiter will be dasa lord in its best sign

transiting the 10th house of the natal chart.

Saturn in the 7th generally brings hardship and difficulty to the

relationships. There is a tendency to be victimized in some way.

Divorce is also, unfortunately, very common with this placement.

Saturn tends to delay or limit good experiences, so there may be

either few relationships or difficult relationships. It's likely

that marriage will come late in life and may be to an older partner.

 

Remedies for either Mercury or Saturn should help with relationships.

Over the next 50 years, there are 3 main dasa periods- Jupiter,

Saturn and Mercury. Saturn's period will probably be the most

fortunate as it is in maha yoga, which brings status and wealth, and

is strong by directional strength. It may give good results mainly

through business involvements since it's placed in the 7th house and

is in parivartana yoga with the 11th house of gains and income.

Relationships, however, could be a problem area during its period

since it occupies the 7th.

 

Other good periods should be-

Jupiter/Ketu in Apr 2009 to Mar 2010. Ketu is expressed through Mars

so this period should give some of the effects of the Jupiter-Mars

raja yoga. I.e., rise in status, wealth and health. Ketu is also

conjunct Venus and 7 houses from dasa lord, so this period can bring

significant relationships or marriage.

 

Jupiter/Venus in Mar 2010 to Nov 2012. They are 7 houses apart with

Venus as 7th significator. This period will likely bring significant

relationships or marriage.

 

Jupiter/Moon in Sep 2013 to Jan 2015. Both planets are beneficial

kona lords and Moon is an exalted benefic in the house of adventures

and own efforts.

 

Jupiter/Mars in Jan 2015 to Dec 2015. They give raja yoga in the

upachaya 6th house which should bring rise in status, wealth and

health. Mars is also very strong since it lords the beneficial 9th

house and is conjunct Jupiter while being aspected by Venus.
