Neither it is possible nor one can predict death. This is in the hand of almighty. Guest guest Posted October 26, 2005 Report Share Posted October 26, 2005 Walia ji, Please do not take this wrongly but if all of these things are in vidhi's haath and are unpredictable then according to that view astrology should have no purpose. However, even in the experience of beginners astrology does seem to work (or else most of them would have quit studying and following astrology). Now, that is different from another thing which is: should one predict death or even spend too much time studying the morbid subject of death and dying. That is a personal choice. In terms of just thinking about this topic, if astrologers can predict the birth and death of a job, or birth of a child and fame and defamation then technically most other things should be predictable. If we were not supposed to be looking into death, then Sages would not have mentioned the houses of longevity or maraka sthanas and so on. I think the right approach should be in focusing more on life and living but because astrology is supposed to give hope and not get a down person further down. That is totally different from whether death is predicatable or not or in vidhi's hands. In a sense everything is in Vidhi's hands but that is what astrology is -- about taking a peek over Vidhi's shoulders and seeing what 'hands' She is going to play! When the dasha and transits, both coincide, the probability of death increases. But, it is very difficult and also unethical to say for sure that the person will die. It can be said that he will go through near death experiences.
