Vimshottari dasha effect poll

Dear fellow-members,

 

I am assuming that with whatever ayanamsha or other parameters you

are using, most of you are getting a good concordance in the charts

you read with the vimshottary dasha effects that you are observing

for planets and actual events, mental status, disposition, health

etc. In other words, if you are experiencing the dasha of jupiter who

is lord of 9th and 12th, for example, you are seeing influences etc

that have a strong (even if not total) bearing with 9th and 12th

house issues and jurisdiction. For simplicity, let us just focus on

the mahadasha at first. Even if the actual event might be marriage

(7th house and to some extent 2nd) but such jupiter dasha brought an

unmistakable connection to the 9th and 12th house and for instance

maybe the father was strongly instrumental in bringing about the

marriage or being an incurably *funny* guy despite well meant

reminders (;-( say you had a honeymoon in a spiritual place, a place

of pilgrimage or maybe your marriage really broke the bank, YOUR bank

(12th)! You get the point!

 

I want to hear from both camps! Those who can indeed find that the

planets, their karakattwas, sthira, chara and naisargika or

rulerships in a specific chart actually form a concordance with

mahadashas and are astrologically transparent in that sense, or even

the opposite view would be welcome. It is an unscientific poll of

sorts but not a yes no poll. Describe your experiences in a few words!
