I am aware the timing is not immediate,which I had communicated,particularly inthe case of the girl's parents who are family friends.The lady in question is a qualified engineer,working and wants to do MBA despite family opposition. My query is of a different nature,does she have a kuja dosha or not.This may help in this compatibility exercise or for future too. Guest guest Posted November 25, 2005 Report Share Posted November 25, 2005 dear satish garu every though brother krishnan garu gave his opinion, my personal opinion (with due apologies to krishnan garu) is slightly different. this girl has a mild manglik dosha because few cancellation rules applied to her were not applicable in their totality. anyway as you know manglik dosha is most severe in 7th house and less severe (mild) in 12th house. 1. if strong jupiter is in venus house, cancellation applies, but here jupiter is not strong. 2. if aspected by strong jupiter, strong venus or strong moon, cancellation applies, here moon is weak (in 6th house) and is debilitated in navamsa. 3. mars + jupiter union makes the dosha cancelled, if it happens in kendra i.e. in houses 1,4,7&10, here this union happens in 12th. 4. i have no knowledge of any yogas or cancellations applying on the basis of stars and i cannot comment on mars in rahu nakshatra. in my knowledge all yogas and cancelaltion of yogas are purely based on bhavas and rashis and not on stars. 5. in navamsha, mars is exalted but the cancelaltion of exaltation rule is in lagna chart (and not navamsa) according to books. if navamsa is to be considered, saturn is in 7th house and hence the dosha gets canceled in navamsha. 6. there is another rule applying that if 7th lord or venus is strong in kendra or trikon, then the dosha is cancelled. here venus is in trikon but is weak due to combustion with sun and is also the lord of 12th house in lagna and lord of 8th house in navamsha. in conclusion, i feel the mild manglik dosha she is having is negligible and she can marry even a non-manglik and lead a happy life provided she visits the only famous mangal mandir in ujjain on any tuesday before marriage and performs the pooja there. as you are aware, mangal is the lord of ujjain as mentioned in saravali. with best wishes arjun vattem krishnan <bursar_99 wrote: Dear Shri Satish ji, Theoritically the girl is mangalik.Mars is also in 4th from Venus and from moon too 7th. The sum total from practicality point of view,Kuja dosha is strong in 7th or 8th house viewed from Lagan,and 50% from Chandra Lagna,25% from Venus Lagna.In other houses i.e. 1,2,4,12,the Dosha is minimal and can be ignored. There is another view,kuja dosha gets nullified after 28yrs. In compatibility checks for others,I find taking exceptions as valid is risky.The girls generally having Kuja dosha are very strong in career and also education front.I wonder what is the correlation.
