I am presently in the media business working from Rajbhavan Road , Hyderabad. andhra pradesh. I have located a 100 acres of freehold land at Prakasham district, Andhra pradesh which is, as u know around 80 KM from Srisailam the home of the lord shiva. Initially i wanted to buy it for myself to do commercial agriculture , just as a hobby. For the last 1 week i am pondering over this idea , why i cannot do service to the lord with this land?. This land is free hold and cheap and is very fertile. Thus i thought to donate 10 acres out of this land to Bhagawan . I am also wondering if other devotees can do the same?. Now, donating land would make sense and would be safe giving returns for charity life long and do service to the lord year after year. The cost of the land including registration in the purchasers name would cost USD 1000 only and once registered the donation would be just signing a transfer agreement in favor of the Trust and sending it by post. The Trust would take control of the land once the documents reach them. Andhra Pradesh which would be extremely safe. Now i as the devotee of Bhagavan , i would like to know if this form of donation is good? Can we identify people who would be interested to donate 1000 US$ worth of land to bhagawan. Pls let me know ur reactions , apart from donating 10 acres from my personal investment i will also help in registering the land and coordinating the whole transaction without any further cost as i have full fledged office and staff to run around. The temples already have more than enough land and wealth. God does not need money or land, only humans need them in the name of God. One should also verify the authenticity of such donation calls, in this age of online frauds and money related scams rampant in India. Those who are not in India can easily be emotionally motivated to donate without any deep investigations. It is better to be cautious than to be sorry. The question is not whether Gods needs Land or Money or any thing else,The answer is god does not need any thing even our prayers. It is only the fact that thru the medium god and his earthly income the poor and needy would be served. I have not requested for anydonation or any money of yours or anyones, It was just a thought which occured to me that i could donate land and if any one is interested in the same I wanted to connect them thats all. Please donot see every thing thru colored glassess , that would become a habbit and produce negative thoughts and blurred thinking. Since we are not giving any cash as donation the question of missuse is ruled out, Land is an asset where it cannot be diluted and once we hand over land to the endowments department then it goes to the control of the State Government and the land would be tilled on lease basis with perinial income to the development of hinudism as well as to feed the down trodden. All humans are not the same and 70% of our brothers are not fortunate as you and I are. It makes sence for people like us to help or at least encorage people who are willing to help.
