Guest guest
Hi all While reading an article on net, i got a doubt regarding kalsarpa dosha. I m explaining my understanding and then asking u a question. It is formed when all the planets are hemmed between rahu and ketu. now starting from rahu (in anticlockwise direction) , all are planets lie before ketu.is this the only condition of kalsarpa dosha. what happens when starting from ketu (in anticlockwise direction)all are planets lie before rahu.is this alo the only condition of kalsarpa dosha. This is called as Descending kalsarpa dosha. Please confirm if descending kalsarpa dosha is correct concept. Also i would like to know what happens when saturn and rahu are combined in the horroscope which has second form of kalsarpa dosha. note that saturn and rahu combination is shrapit yoga. details are : 1979-06-15 06:10:00 longitude -> 76:36:00 latitude -> 18:24:00 thanks angel
Guest guest
dear sir, I also have a doubt. In a chart if lagna is outside Rahu ketu axis and all other planets are within rahu-ketu axis can we treat it as kala sarpa dosha? regards, k.gopu
Guest guest
did you read the article on KSY in The Astrological magazine, Bangalore, January 2006 edition? , K Gopu <kgopu_24 wrote: > > > dear sir, > I also have a doubt. Guest guest
Hi, This is a very interesting case in whcih moon in Simha in the 9th with ketu giving rise to kala sarpa yoga. No doubt Rahu is generally known as ascending and ketu is the otherway. Also it is also these chaya grahas moves in reverse direction as retrograde planets. Based on location of the planets and hemming of these nodes on both sides of chart covering all planets is termed in most frieghtening terms as kala sarpa yoga.Probably naming the yogas (as kalasarpa, srapit etc)made issues in jyotish as more complicated and cumbersome and practically as these terms have become very catchy and erodes all beliefs and faiths about vedic sciences. In fact before one delves further into Rahu_ketu nodal aspects, first let us have consent that these nodes continue to be 180 degrees apart and no chance for them to be like other seven planets to be closer or away from sun/moon. Also let us also be sure sun, moon apart from lagna have also equal importance in jyotish in all the experiences which native undergoes due to poorva punya or to his own actions in his present janma. In this instant chart, it is moon's association with ketu in the 5th(coming under rahu-ketu axis) underscores kalasarpa yoga. Any planet particularly sun and moon happen to be falling under rahu ketu axis one has to first unlearn about various yogas theoritically envisaged in texts. But one insists only to confirm his own view point with reference to what ever one has known or understood about palnets and behaviour the answer would have to be that the understanding is by no means wrong as positionally rahu and ketu engulfs all seven planets leading to ascending and descending kalasarpa yogas. What indepth study of jyotisha and various other ways of looking at the planets strength, do not really cause that fear of flight as the terms kalsarpa yoga and other's carry with them in ususal sense. In this regard let us give credence to our ancient seers who termed Sun as Garha adhipati and felt, strength of entire chart is based on sun as sun gives power to all rasies and bahvas.Recently too in one article in popular magazine has also reiterated and ignored the names of kalsarpa in vogue.. Moon being a closest planet to earth and happaens as in this chart to be in adverse conditions, the manahkarak is certainly troubles native more than the kalasarpa yoga. Rahu being a bhogi planet and ketu being a spirtual planet effecting Sun in this chart induces very gloomy nature and Ketu is KRUSA inducing "thoughts of old person"Some how Ketu makes native toinfluence that his birth is of very high order and says he has no interest in pleasures of the world, particulary sexual aspects of life. Also in Navmsa Rahu getting associated with Sun in 11th house and debilitating mercury make issues more complicated with reference to his/her abilities to be self dependent. Now the second issue posed relate to:"what happens when saturn and rahu are combined in the horroscope" which(has second form of kalsarpa dosha) here again ,association of Rahu in a way makes issues lighter as the important planets like Sun and moon are spared from the nodal influences. Saturn being a task master association of Rahu ,a planet known to have fondness to pleasures makes native to find ways"by all means to achieve what he looks for"The thin line between good and bad otherwise exists gets faded away 'coz of saturn's association with Rahu. In this instant case 3rd and 9th bhavas lord of 3rd is in 10th from own house and is also atmakarak planet with Venus lord of 12th in 12th.Interestingly moon in aquarius in Dhanishta, ruled by Mars is nakshtra lord brings some enrgy in life.Mercury in lagna in own sign but in Ardra gives a good intution but let it be for positive approaches as lagna is raising in mars ruled mrigasira nakshtra in airy sign, the native need to be taken care as he is very emotional nature and looses his composure oft and on. krishnan angel <angelgoel wrote: Hi all While reading an article on net, i got a doubt regarding kalsarpa dosha. Guest guest
Dear Shri. Gopu: If the lagna is outside the Rahu-Ketu axis, Kaala Sarpa Dosha-bhanga (cancellation of the Kaala Sarpa Yoga) happens. i.e. you can assume that evils that are associated with kaala sarpa yoga do not operate in the horoscope. However, with all planets in one side of the rahu-ketu axis, you should make conscious efforts to maintain a balanced view of life as such placements invariably lead to lopsided development of an individual either in materialistic or spiritual planes to the exclusion of the other (a harmonious and normal life is possible ONLY if the spiritual and materialistic developments of an individual go hand in hand, and the balance tilting gradually towards spiritualism towards the end of one's life). YOu can read a wonderful article that has been posted by Guruji Dakshinamoorthi in the vedic astrology groups (I think in the month of January) for clarification about kala sarpa yoga and how it operates. Best wishes. --- K Gopu <kgopu_24 wrote: dear sir, I also have a doubt.
