i will answer it both ways

 

if indippendent

a planet in Maraka sthana is the one that gives one a challange or risk

driven time-succes or failure depends on other elements-Yogas, dasham gochara

etc.

 

all KINGS, emproers who went to war went in maraka dasa so one with a strong

period won other lost.

 

all army, police, politicinas to show such maraka periods give them a tough

job, the waker ones r politicians.

 

MB=Mrityu Bhagas r BLIND SPOTS like the ones u c in a car, van a few points

where u can't c what is in the background and if suddenly from such a blind

spot and behind some one drives in fast-crashes into u it is a accident beyond

ur control. [THIS BLIND SPOTS R SMALLR INTHE FRONT SIDE OF A CAR but can

happen still].

 

MB is a point where a planet is powerless to give say u have a Gajakesari

yoga if either Guru or Chandra r in MB then no use it won't work

 

it is one degree in a sign when it is powerless.

My questions were independent to each other.

 

I think I can sort of understand your description of mrithyu bhaga

as 'blind spot'. You said the planet placed in mrithyubhaga would be

powerless. Would the planet possess less strength irrespective of its

good shadbala strength ?

 

When such a native faces problems in the MD/AD of such a planet, is

there a general remedy like strengthening the concerned planet or

would the remedy depend on the problems faced by the native ?

MB overrides the shadbalas, yogas, varga strenght if dasa r of malifi houses,

or influenced can be terrible

 

we used to have group discussions in our ICAS, [indian council of astrological

sciences] stil every sunday allover India

 

in a few of them we had the Makara Lagan cases with RAVI at 20 deg mesha,

theMB for ravi

one lost her sieght in it as ravi dasa started

another became mentally deranged in ravi dasa here the moon was also weak

 

I do't have the date though

but for this next one i have

20//2/1939, 00.40, 17 21 N, 82 35 E

 

on 10-3-86

in Budh-Bud-rah-gur-Kuja she had hystractomy

the dasa of the 8th lord, the sing of Kalapursha's 8th house kuja

Kuja was in 21 DEG MB for vrischika though lagna lord in lagna. RUCHIKA YOGA,

whatever.

 

it is like shastiamsa krura gives evil, shuba gives good, so if bad planets

and bad houses r in MB some disorder, disease can creep in suddenly.
