He is my second Guru in astrology

but like Aacharya

Dronacharya jee and Eklavya because i never met him before while i am

resident

of Delhi at present.As discussion always improves knowledge so i have

some

confusions regarding aforesaid matter that i want to keep before him.I

hope kind

hearted Guru Sh.Rao jee will parden me and tell us the reason according

to

Vrishabh Lagana.

(1)Sir,before looking the said birth chart could we predict that this

native had a

"ALPAAYU YOG", while 8th lord is sitted in own house.

(2)Sir,why was he killed so brutally?Again while the 8th lord sitted in

own house,

that is ATI SHUBH GRAHA.So his death should be soft, 7th lord is in

own sign.

(3)Sir,Why such attempt was made by his younger brother? Karak of 3rd

house

is sitted in his own house 7th and the lord of same house is sitted

with Lagan

lord in 5th house.Neither Pratyantra Dasha of Karak nor the lord of

3rd house

Moon was running at the time of incident.

So i have these some doubts,I again do request to Sh. Rao jee

through you if

these are baseless,please ignore them and forgive me.

On 22 April, a Saturday, when I was going to the Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, I got

from R.S. Pawar, the co author of the book on Dwadashottari Dasha, the horoscope

of Pramod Mahajan along with the degrees dictated to me while we were in a car.

Presuming it to be correct, it was put on the board in the class which has two

doctors also. I told the class that I saw it as a hopeless case if the horoscope

was correct. One male doctor said that there existed some hope because the lungs

and heart were not affected while a lady doctor said that it was difficult case.

 

Back home, I was bombarded with different horoscopes, most of them preferring

Mithuna lagna, while one went on to even Simha lagna with the date of birth

being different, 27 October 1948. The date 27 October was given to me by a

Maharastrian woman living in Calcutta who said that it was got from an

astrologer of Maharastra who had this horoscope in his possession and had made

predictions for the Mahajan family on this horoscope.That astrologer predicted

recovery after April. So it was a case of confusion worse confounded.

 

In different television programmes most of them showed Mithuna lagna and said

that if he survived 27 and 28 of April , Mahajan would survive. Another

astrologer using the same data but Vrischika lagna also said that if, Pramod

Mahajan survived the last few days of April, he would survive and become the

most important leader of the BJP.

 

Then on different websites almost everyone seemed to prefer Mithuna lagna and

all of them repeated the same prediction of it being fatal in the last days of

April and survival later, even a much greater future than he had had so far.

During the days the Pramod Mahajan tragedy was being discussed in the media,

particularly by the television media, I received the following email from

Switzerland and see my reply.

As usual five horoscopes are circulating but the one with the following details

seem to be reliable:

30 Oct 948 / 19/51 /Mahboobnagar

Lagna Vrisha 17/39

Moon in Kanya 21/35

It is the end of story for him. If he survives 27/28 April he can drag on for

four months at most if this horoscope is correct.

At no stage I saw any chances of the survival of Mahajan on the basis of the

horoscope I had before me. I had no reason to doubt it as some of the events of

his life are verifiable from this horoscope including his educational pattern.

 

 

 

 

I was aware that as many as five horoscopes were in circulation and some

television channels desperate to be the "first" to cover it from all angles ,

including the strological

analysis, approached many astrologers. I was approached by some channels but I

refused to appear in any television show . I did not want to cause any pain to

the family of Pramod Mahajan which had been in deep agony during all these days.

In fact, while a Hindi television channel showed a woman anchor talk

aggressively of it being very fatal when water from the kidneys of Mahajan was

being removed on 27 April, an English channel showed in a rather cultured way a

correspondent saying that a request had been received from the family of Mahajan

not to overplay it as fatal. It was clear from this that India's private

television channels will never learn to be cultured.

 

There is so much awkardness and delicacy in discussing openly the impending

death of someone in glaring news. It is not the first time that many astrologers

have claimed that they have got the horoscopes from most reliable "family

sources". Majority of them stuck to Mithuna lagna and predicted recovery.

 

But what a student passed on to me with Vrisha lagna appealed to me as correct

and I privately predicted to friends that it was not a case of recovery and, at

most, it could drag on only for a week or fortnight. I saw no chance of recovery

at all. It is what I had written to Pradeep on 24 April.

 

I am surprised at astrologers who cannot see the rise of Mahajan in the dasha of

Saturn the tenth lord from Vrisha lagna. Why are they sticking to Mithuna and

predicting recovery?

 

See for instance the period of his rise. In Chara dasha it would be the dasha of

Vrischika with an excellent eleventh house containing the Amatyakaraka and

period of his amassing wealth also. In Vrischika-Meena- Karka in 1996 with Mars

aspecting the tenth house he was even Defence Minister for a brief period during

the ill fated 13 days government of Atal Behari Vajpai.

 

>From Tula Kumbha 3 July 2003 with Amatyakaraka falling in the eighth house he

failed with his India Shining slogan and the NDA government and BJP fell from

power. TV predictions of some astrologers Almost all astrologers said that the

transit of Moon in Mesha could be fatal but all of them added that if he

survived that, he would recover.

 

With so many combinations for fatality present even from Mithuna lagna, how was

Mahajan's survival seen ?

 

>From Vrisha lagna, the inevitable was visible more easily. I had a different

view it will be Saturn- Rahu-Mercury which was rather bad. But to say, that he

would recover after that appeared impossible to me. And ofcourse Moon in Mesha

is a signal of danger. And later Moon in Mithuna would be equally dangerous as

it would aspect the Karakamsha and also the pada of the eighth lord together

with Mars.

 

The period that would continue after will not be less fatal. There was no chance

of a recovery at all. It was prudent to avoid television channels and discuss

the available horoscope of Mahajan quietly in our astrological circles, I

decided.

 

As in the case of news in general so too in the case of Mahajan, balanced news

coverage

was available only in the Doordarshan which is government controlled and has a

tradition of dignity, news sense presented by mature and experience journalists.

 

 

ASTROLOGICAL ANALYSIS

The analysis we had arrived at was the following.

 

Vimshottari dasha

In Vimshottari dasha it is Saturn-Rahu-Mercury from 6 January 2006 to 3 June

2006 and Mercury here is the second lord and maraka.

 

Chara dasha

The picture is clearer in Jaimini's Chara Dasha in which it is Kanya which

contains both the Atmakaraka and the Karakamsha. The antardasha is Mesha from 31

May 2005 to 31 May 2006. This is eighth from Karakamsha and fatal.

 

 

In Sthira dasha

The picture is equally depressing in Jaimini Sthira dasha.. It is Mesha Mesha

upto 5 May 2006. So no hope can he held out. May 5 is like a distant date

now.This is eighth from Karakamsha and fatal . Mesha is eighth from Karakamsha

and Atmakaraka and from here, Bhartikaraka, Mars is in the eighth house showing

the brother being in trouble. Mesha antardasha is aspected by Mars and Saturn

showing the violent incident.

 

The transit of the day

Both the lagna lord Venus and Moon are in Kanya on which Ketu has been

transitting and now Saturn from Karka and Mars from Mithuna are aspecting it

showing the dangerous event clearly. The fifth house from Vrisha represents the

stomach region, as a student pointed out.

 

Tajak

A colleague in the Institute of Astrology, Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, Sri Saxena,

worked on the Tajak of Pramod Mahajan and told me that the conclusion I had come

to, of it being the end of everything for Mahajan, was confirmed through the

annual horoscope also. Here Mars in the fifth house aspecting Saturn in the

eighth is ominous enough and Saturn is the third lord also. Here Muntha is in

the second house aspected by Saturn and the lord of Muntha, Saturn is in the

eighth house aspected by Mars. The fatal picture drawn from Vimshottari and

Jaimini's Chara dasha is corroborated.

 

Bhrigu approach

As I was writing this, S. S.dropped in and I asked him to give a Bhrigu analysis

presuming the data to be accurate. SS has been doing some remarkable researches

in Bhrigu and wants to remain anynymous for some personal reasons. He did it and

said that nothing was good and there was no hope.

 

I decided to post this piece in the first week of May, as in Sthira dasha, the

fatal period is upto 5 May.

 

NOTE

I had told a BJP leader of middle level about a political assassination a week

before the tragedy of Mahajan and I will disclose it later.

Subsequent to this, I received many phones from many people asking me what was

my prediction about Pramod Mahajan. I told them that I had no doubt that the

horoscope I was using in his case was correct and on this basis I would not even

give one percent chance to Mahajan for survival. This prediction of mine did not

seem to be in line with the periodical medical bulletins someone told me.

Astrologers were optimistic of his prediction if he survived April but I was not

at any stage.

The immediate fatal date after 27/28 April would be before 5 May I told them. I
